The Last EVER Service with the Class 117 DMU Leaving Alton 22/09/11
A very sad event with the class 117 DMU leaving the railway, this video is off the least EVER DMMU Timetabled departure from Alton with the class 117 DMU. This unit will surely be missed and will be a missing part to the railway, i believe it has been sold on to the Glouchesire and Warwickshire Railway. Lots of horns features aswell.
Farewell to this great unit.

Class 117 Departs Watchet
This is a video from 2012 that I've only just got round to uploading. It shows one of the West Somerset Railway's two Class 117 DMU sets leaving Watchet for Minehead on a sunny afternoon. The centre coach isn't powered, which explains the lack of noise as it passes. The ride was incredibly smooth and the engines gave a satisfying growl as it travelled through the countryside, along with a very friendly guard who explained more about working with these heritage DMUs. Well worth a visit!

It's one thing to read about history in a textbook, but to witness Union and Confederate re-enactors bring the Civil War to life was a thrilling experience for the many who turned out for the St. Albans Civil War Heritage Days, held in Taylor Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31, 2011
