Latvian people are spoiled... and I love it! ???????? Riga Central Market, Alternative Free Walking Tour
Latvia, Riga: Latvian people are spoiled and here is why! I love that they are so spoiled, cause when they go to the Riga Central Market they pretend and order only the freshest food. And the freshest food of them, the only food that Latvian people would require is fish. The only way to have fresh fish is to have it alive! Alive fish is the only way they would accept it!
I found out about this market while reading about Riga and then, by surprise, when I joined the Alternative Free Walking Tour, the tour guide, Liga, brought us there and shared with us all the info about the central market and the suburbs of Riga.

Riga, Latvia vlog #2 ????????Riga Central Market & Sky Bar
It's the second and final vlog in my Riga, Latvia travel series! In this vlog, we tick off lots of the main sights in Riga, like the Riga Central Market (the biggest indoor market in the whole of Europe), the Three Brothers houses, and we go to the sky bar at the top of the Raddison Blu hotel, which has some of the best views in the city.
I also climbed (well, got the lift) to the top of St Peter's Church, which cost 9 euro.
We went to Fat Pumpkin for dinner one night, and had a final lunch at a really cool restaurant called Cydonia -
The Three Brothers -
I hope you enjoyed my vlogs from Riga! Regular weekly vlogs will come back in two weeks from today.
I'm going to Canada in August, so please subscribe to see that series as well.

Riga is the capital of Latvia and is home to 632,614 inhabitants (2019), which is a third of Latvia's population. Being significantly larger than other cities of Latvia, Riga is the country's primate city. It is also the largest city in the three Baltic states and is home to one tenth of the three Baltic states' combined population. With 641,000 inhabitants in 2015,Riga is the largest city in the Baltic States, though its population has decreased from just over 900,000 in 1991. Notable causes include emigration and low birth rates. Some have estimated that the population may fall by as much as 50% by 2050.[64] According to the 2011 census data, ethnic Latvians made up 49.33% of the population of Riga, with the percentage of ethnic Russians at 37.21%, Belarusians at 3.88%, Ukrainians at 3.45%, Poles at 1.85%, Lithuanians at 0.83% and other ethnicities at 3.46%. By comparison, 67.1% of Latvia's total population are ethnic Latvians, 21.9% are Russians, 3.3% are Belarusians, 2.2% are Ukrainians, 2.2% are Polish, 1.2% are Lithuanians and the remaining 2.1% are accounted for by other ethnicities.
Upon the restoration of Latvia's independence in 1991, Soviet era immigrants (and any of their offspring born before 1991) were not automatically granted Latvian citizenship because they had migrated to the territory of Latvia during the years when Latvia was part of the Soviet Union. In 2013 citizens of Latvia made up 73.1%, non-citizens 21.9% and citizens of other countries 4.9% of the population of Riga. The proportion of ethnic Latvians in Riga increased from 36.5% in 1989 to 42.4% in 2010. In contrast, the percentage of Russians fell from 47.3% to 40.7% in the same time period. Latvians overtook Russians as the largest ethnic group in 2006. Further projections show that the ethnic Russian population will continue a steady decline.Wikipedia

Riga (Latvia) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Riga in Latvia.
Riga is the capital of Latvia, a Hanseatic city and European capital of culture. Saint Petri Church is located in the centre of the city and has a long and varied history. It features inner cross vaults modelled on those of the dome of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck’s cathedral, plus a circular arch and sturdy, red brick walls. It is one of the most important sacred buildings of the Middle Ages and is closely linked with the development of the city. Mentzendorff House was a manorial property which German merchants had built at the end of the seventeenth century. Carefully renovated, its original splendour has been fully restored. The middle class buildings of Elisabeth and Albert Street indicate the prosperity of its past occupants. Like almost nowhere else, art nouveau has been preserved incredibly well with lavish embellishments and numerous motifs. Marien Cathedral is situated in the centre of the city and is the most important religious building in the Baltic States. Its age, dimensions and contrasting architectural styles bear witness to a long history and its famous organ, built in 1883, contains a hundred and twenty four registers and almost seven thousand wooden and metal pipes. In keeping with the age-old traditions of the Hanseatic League, the very heart of the Baltic beats within Latvia's metropolis and, with an elegant lust for life, Riga is an extraordinary treasure!

Latvian Women: Dating in RIGA (in 2019)
The best dating site to meet Latvian women in Riga is Russian Cupid:
Allow me to share the truth about dating in Latvia with you.
Some of the facts that I'm going to share with you are great. Others are not that amazing. But I want you to have a clear picture of what to expect when you set yourself the goal to have a Latvian girlfriend or wife.
The shortage of men in this Eastern European country is definitely your biggest advantage. And no matter if you want to date the local women or if you decide to date Russian women, you can find them in Riga and in other parts of the country.
I also want to show you how to meet women in Daugavpils and in Jurmala because Riga might not be your first option…watch the video to find out why.
I share the best date venues in Riga and in other parts of Latvia with you and I also show you which kind of man Latvian women want to date and which kind of man they don't even want to talk to.
Watch this video till the end and you will be able to date the most beautiful women on your next trip to Latvia…
