'Heavy weather' voor een zeer pittig traject. Gekozen voor een (gedeeltelijke) omweg via de R571. Maar bij Lough Inchuiquin, voor Feorus East ,waren we terug op de E8. Achteraf gezien best link: in storm en regen konden we bergopwaarts alleen met hulp van de stokken overeind blijven. En dan nog met moeite. Maar het is allemaal gelukt, we hebben veilig Kenmare bereikt.

Awesome roads and scenery, just a shame my microphone had just given up the ghost. The Ring of Beara was the highlight of the trip, everything else felt anti-climactic. More of this area of Ireland to come.
