Creating a Strong Vision: Maroondah City Council
Ringwood is in the midst of a transformation into a major regional hub of Melbourne. As a designated Metropolitan Activity Centre Ringwood has seen significant investment from Council, State Government and private enterprise.
This has been achieved through the extensive planning policy framework Council has established over the past 15 years, and is supported by the strong partnership Council has formed. Maroondah City Council are now in the most exciting stage of the transformation with three major construction sites currently in operation in the heart of Ringwood – Aquanation, Ringwood Station and the Eastland redevelopment, incorporating the Town Square and Realm (Ringwood Library, Learning and Cultural Centre).
In addition to this there is also significant residential and commercial development underway within the precinct creating a hub for business, retail and lifestyle opportunities.

Meandarra Library, were the lucky winners of a visit from the #ThinkDigitalCoach, a 14-metre classroom on wheels.
On Friday, September 1st 2017, Rocky, the #ThinkDigitalCoach rolled into the little remote town of Meandarra Queensland and spent the day immersing their local students from around the district into a world of new realities. For the vast majority, this was their first experience of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
Congrats Western Downs Libraries, we loved collaborating with you on this day of #Digital Exploration.

Walked in expected that something had changed. No. It's all still the same tho one toilet was closed off. Wall hung standard pans on concealed flush valves. Tho the flushes are not as good as they once were
