I decided to go out and see a mate down in Geelong after chasing the Snapper in Docklands the day before………..let’s just say I was MAD KEEN for some more fish.
Got there early in the morning and managed to sight catch a flathead in the shallows and the day progresses great, with more flathead and my personal best salmon with the only downfall of the day being getting a PARKING FINE as I couldn’t see the sign early in the morning when I got there :(.
This was the second time fishing the Geelong area, being a short drive from Melbourne; it makes for a fantastic day trip to get into some more fish.

这是一个既倒霉又失败的视频～
我们本想趁着刚开学还不用赶due的周末，打算去周边的‘大城市’吉朗Geelong走走。
没想到出门遇到一整天都是大阴天，Google map完全不听使唤，找路时下暴雨差点停拍视频等等～～～
更崩溃的事情！我们还弄丢了（也可能是没找到）一半的视频素材，大概是木偶人觉得我们太可爱了就把sd卡偷偷留在了Geelong作为他们的纪念吧。
最最最崩溃的事情！剪辑好的视频被木偶人从iMovie搬走了（iMovie单个视频闪退）。。。
虽然倒霉和失败的事情很多，但是生活的小小恶作剧是打不倒我们的（毕竟是倒霉惯了）！
我们还是傻乎乎的玩了一整天，Geelong还是比想象中的更美，更加平静，更有生活气息。
素材丢了我们真的很抱歉，这周既没有按时更新也没能给大家带来更好的视频，不过这应该就是给我们机会以后再去一次Geelong吧～

Geelong Beach - Bollard Sculpture Walk
Jan Lennard's fabulous bollard sculptures are synonymous with Geelong. Commissioned by the City of Geelong in 1995 to commemorate quirky and important figures and happenings from Geelong's colourful history, they are dotted across the city, and even further afield, in Barwon Heads and welcoming arrivals at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport.
By far the bulk of them though, line Geelong's revitalised waterfront. A 4km walk along the lovely waterfront walking paths from Rippleside Park (off Bell parade, North Geelong) through to the glamorous 1930's swimming enclosure at Eastern Beach, will let you take in almost 100 of the often humorous figures. Children can be further entertained by encouraging them to find the hidden rabbits often lurking around the bollard character's 'feet'. If that doesn't work, there is always the 100 year old fully restored working carousel which you pass on the way at Steampacket Pier, or the icecreams and swim at the swimming enclosure at the end of the walk.

Rippleside is a suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The suburb overlooks Corio Bay. At the 2016 census, Rippleside had a population of 875.Rippleside adjoins Drumcondra, 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) north of Geelong City on Corio Bay. The locality covers the suburban area bounded by Corio Bay, East Victoria Street (the Western section is a part of North Geelong and separated by a pedestrian underpass), Melbourne Road and Rippleside Park.
Rippleside Park is a much sought-after location in Geelong; many of the properties located in the area represent the Victorian history that the area has experienced throughout its life. The area is known for its lucrative, and therefore expensive location.
For local residents, the suburb is within 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) of the North Geelong Railway Station and bus routes connected to Geelong City.
