Paul Elchert Jr. Make A Difference Day - Tiffin, Ohio

The dedication ceremony for the Paul Elchert Jr. Walking Trail located at Oakley Park in Tiffin, Ohio was held on June 15, 2014, the date that has been declared Paul Elchert Make A Difference Day in the city of Tiffin to celebrate Paul's 25 years of service on city council, as well as countless hours of volunteering around the city to make a difference.

On this day, over 40 of Paul's family members met at Oakley Park at 9:00 AM wearing their blue Paul Elchert Make A Difference Day t-shirts. After designing their game plan, they went to 3 different homes within the city to help people who were in need of assistance with lawn care. After several hours of working at these homes, they, again, met at Oakley to lay mulch around the park and enjoyed a family picnic before the dedication ceremony led by Mayor Aaron Montz.
