En route to our hotel, Palazzo Bembo, from the Rialto Bridge. Riva del Carbon is the promenade along the south side of the Grand Canal at the Rialto Bridge. We pass by where the water taxis dock and spy inside a pastry shop.

The historical gondola ride is the ideal way to appreciate some of the finest views of Venice, aboard its most distinctive vessel, the Gondola.
The traditional Gondola Tour has a unique itinerary for each boarding point:

My favourite tour is starting at the Station in front of the Hotel Danieli and offers an exceptional gondola ride past some of the most suggestive scenes of Venice. From the departure point 50 m. from Piazza San Marco, past the Bacino in front of the square, and into some of the oldest canals of the city. Along Rio del Palazzo and under the iconic Bridge of Sighs, the tour reaches Rio di Santa Maria Formosa and Rio di San Severo to return to the original Stazio.
Venice Line 1 Water Bus tour, first to last stop: 1hr10 in 6 mins!
Whilst on vacation / holiday in Venice we filmed the whole Venezia Vaporetto travel journey on the Line 1 Water Bus (waterbus) from Venice Lido all the way along the grand canal waterway (Canal Grande), to the last stop. Here is the whole 1 hour 10 minutes of the trip, in fast-forward, speeded up and condensed into 6 minutes!

Footprints is an interactive sculpture that explores the juxtaposition between identity, mass migration and physical barriers through sound, light and movement.
Driven by current immigration data and illustrated using animated light patterns, Footprints is an art installation that conveys the number of forced migrants crossing boarders per minute due to conflict - A sobering representation of the amount of people currently embarked on a journey to find peace.
Wild Flag Studios is a collective of artists and designers that creates interactive experiences, kinetic art installations and public sculptures that reside at the intersection of art and innovation.
They specialize in developing thought provoking design aimed at stimulating the human senses by combining classical methods of craftsmanship with digital fabrication.

DRIVING TO VENICE IN THE ASTON MARTIN GT8 - Day 4 of Fuel Faction Due
Day 4 of the Fuel Faction started with a MAJOR hangover, thankfully Benzeneben was able to drive and enjoy some of the most amazing Italian Roads I've ever seen in the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. After lunch I was feeling much better, especially after Tim gave me the keys to his Aston GT8, Becky and I had a good giggle in that all the way to our overnight stop in Venice
