Free RV Boondocking in Iowa: Riverside Casino & Golf Resort
Located in Riverside, Iowa, about 10 miles south of Iowa City, the casino offers parking spaces for RV's and Semi Trucks with no limits on length of stay. Sash and I boondockers there for 16 days and was not bothered by security or casino management. We did, however, get players club cards, and dined there, even bought concert tickets, and a massage. No hook ups here, no dump station, however there is a dump station with potable water for $10.00 about 12 miles to the west at Kalona City Campground.

[RV Life & Travel] Cedar Falls, IA || Biking, Breweries, Paddle Trail & Disc Golf [Ep108]
If you're gonna be in Iowa in the summertime, you've gotta get out on the water! The heat and humidity can be pretty crazy so when we visited Cedar Falls, we were stoked to learn about the Cedar Valley Paddler's Trail and check it out. We also enjoyed a visit to Singlespeed Brewing and getting a round of disc golf in at Tourist Park. Hope you enjoy!
We camped at George Wyth State Park, a great deal at $16/night for electric sites (in 2018) Reservable and walk up sites available:

Grand Falls Resort Casino and FOOD in Larchwood, IA.
Gambling on Food is like not having a lot of choices for places to eat locally for us, so when the Grand
Falls Resort Casino opened this past July, it was a good place to take a motorcycle ride to and check out the food. Personally, I liked it. See for yourself. The hotel and casino are one of the cleanest and most modern I have seen. So if your looking for a Motorcycle ride and like food and fun, you might like to check this place out.
Here is an interview by Sioux Falls Argus Leader that explains all the restaurants more.
Here are a few specs.

Where in Iowa is Jeff?
Finally, after 5,000 miles on the road and 157 dance clips, the video of my tour of Iowa is complete. Filmed between May and November of 2007, it is my spoof of Matt Harding of wherethehellismatt.com. This video was shot entirely on my Canon PowerShot A540 and started as a goofy way to highlight the places I finally took the opportunity to see in my home state, places I have wanted to see since I was a kid. Trust me, there's a lot to see in the Hawkeye State besides corn and pigs and beans and cows and tractors and barns and silos. Don't believe it? Watch the video. Better yet, visit Iowa and see for yourself.
Here's the scoop on the clips in the video:

Yes, that really is Matt Harding dancing with me in the Inspiration by... clip. This summer, I was fortunate enough to dance with Matt with a group in Chicago for Matt's next around-the-world video. It's due out in June 2008. In the meantime:
Lastly, my apologies to Iowa City, Pella, Davenport, Marion, Waterloo, Mason City, Fairfield, Brooklyn, Forest City, Van Wert, and the other hundreds of cities, towns, parks, golf courses, and cool places that I did not have time to visit or shot crappy clips that didn't make the final cut. There is WAY too much in Iowa to see in one summer, but I made a good run at it.
Iowans, get away from your TV's and computers and go see your state!!! You really don't know what you're missing.
