This time we visited Shanghai and it stole our hearts!
It’s a vibrant, modern and welcoming city and its energy is infectious.

We were also lucky to go to the NBA Global Game between Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves, which was definitely my husband’s highlight of the trip! 3:48

The Metro system or Shanghai Subway is a really easy, cost effective and often the quickest way to get around the city of more than 24 million people. Instead of buying individual tickets opt for Shanghai Public Transportation Card - JIAO TONG KA.
• 20 yuan deposit
• Can be bought at the Pudong Airport & used on the Maglev Train (50 yuan fee to city centre) or Subway (green Metro Line 2)
• Can be used on buses, subway, taxi, ferry & topped up at subway stations, convenient stores & McDonalds
• Say “YI ZHANG JIAO TONG KA” at the counter & give money
