The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.

Turkey Vlog 7 | Drive to Pamukkale | Antalya Old Town
We drove up to Pamukkale from Antalya with a car we had hired from the resort reception desk. The car was pretty beat up, but the heater worked, so that was alright. The day started off bright and sunny and we were praying for this weather to continue. However, things turned for the worse and we were welcomed by a wall of cloud and mist as we neared Denizli. The gray weather continued till we reached Pamukkale and we had snacks to lift our mood along the drive. It started to drizzle as we went up the cotton castles at Pamukkale. Then it caught up and started to pour. We got some lentil soup up top and warmed up by the heater alongside the cats that had gathered there. We had to skip Hierapolis, even though it was right there, because we were cold and wet. We decided to wade down the hot-stream channel down the chalk ways and soon realized that the current was very strong. We were knee deep in (warm) water though and getting hit by the rains from above. We got back to our car, took the now wet jackets off and switched on the heater. We drove back in rain and this rain continued until next evening, so we spent most of our time holed up in our room watching Netflix. We got out the next day, just in time to catch some sun by the beach and took off for Antalya Old town. It was charming and full of cats and old things, we had dinner at a Vegan joint called Rokka Pizza Falafel. We had a longish chat with an old gentleman at the bust stand and headed back to the resort.

Canakkale to Pamukkale | European to Asian Turkey by Road!
This video is based on my journey from Gallipoli to Canakkale. I hitchhiked from Alcetepe village to Eceabat. Travelled on a ferry from Eceabat to Canakkale for 4 Lira. Took a city bus to reach the outskirts of Canakkale city. Watch the video to know how was my journey. Who and how were the Turkish people whom I met on the way. You'll love it.

Turkey road trip day 3 Pamukkale by Life Travel Pepper
Last September Life Travel & Pepper started a 6000 kms of a positive and delightful road trip, exploring inland Turkey and it´s many heritage sights!
13 days road trip involved by imposing monuments of greek-roman history and culture, layered in a warm and turquoise ocean, captivated by vibrant cities of lights, people and beauty, seduzed by flying ballons that cross valleys and giant rocks with monster faces and dazzled by the energie of the established daily rituals and relaxing traditions of body worship.
Day 3- We woke up and went to the balcony of the room...WOW!!!!! What a view!!!Pamukkale it´s just there, just a road away.. We got there already late in the night so we didn´t realized that it was so close to our hotel. It´s so amazingly white and shinnig.
Pamukkale, means Cotton Castle in Turquish, because of the white, cottony appearance of the mineral bath spas that abound the province, which it´s rich in calcium.
Pamukkale is a small place, but it has remarkable spots that made our trip memorable such as the ruins of Hierapolis (ancient spa town), Cleopatra´s Thermal pool (scattered marble columns add to the charm of this warm, calcium-dense pool), Travertines (calcium deposit terraces), Roman Theater and the archaeological Museum.
Known as a “spa town” since the Roman era, Pamukkale it´s a fantastic opportunity to relax in warm, soothing and therapeutic waters in the myriad spas.
We spend most of the day dazzled by the magnificence of the hardened calcium bicarbonate cascading over the cliffs. So much beauty made us forget time...very relaxed, at the end of the afternoon we restarted the road trip, in direction of the turquoise coast, speacifically Marmaris city.

Hot Air Balloon Ride Turkey + Pamukkale Thermal Pools | Turkey Vlog | Travel Talk Tours #3
We finally got to take a hot air balloon ride in Turkey! In this travel vlog we're also at Pamukkale thermal pools with Travel Talk Tours and...⬇ More Below ✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel non-stop —
What more could we want - a hot air balloon ride and Pamukkale hot thermal pools in one day! A hot air balloon ride in Turkey has been on our bucket list forever. We're on a Travel Talk Tour around Turkey and in our last travel vlog from Cappadocia we were sad that we didn't get the chance to go on the hot air balloon because of weather... in this vlog that changed!
It was lucky for us that Travel Talk have a back up option in Pamukkale, before the thermal pools, if the hot air balloons are cancelled in Cappdocia - which seems to be pretty common at this time of year.
After waiting so long to take a hot air balloon ride, was it worth the wait to do it in Turkey? Hell to the yeah it was! It would have been that bit more special in Cappadocia, but Pamukkale made for a special place as well.
Here's the trip we're taking with Travel Talk Tours around Turkey for 11 days —

In the next episode of our Turkey series we are just ticking off bucket list items left and right but not before we stop at a loca carpet store to see the intricate way they hand make each one of them - taking up to 9 months for some of them to be made.
First bucket list stop is Ephesus to see and explore the ancient city before ending our night in Sirince to try some local wines in a very cute town.
The next day we have a surprise visit to the Temple of Artemis to see one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World...and then the biggest highlight happens - seeing the thermal pools of Pamukkale and having a dip in Cleopatra's pool...
...wow Turkey just wow is all we can say!

➀st Destination - Olympos
➁nd Destination - Kas
➂rd Destination - Ölüdeniz
➃th Destination - incekum Beach, Marmaris
➄th Destination - Bodrum, Turkey
✗ Pamukkale Travel Details
☄Make sure to take your swim suit, sunscreen, towel and some water
☄Wear shoes that are easy to remove as you must take your shoes off to walk up to the thermal pools, make sure to also take something to store your shoes in as they do not mind these for you.
☄ Get there early if your going in peak season as tour buses show up around midday and by that time its hard to get those uninterrupted photos ;)
☄ Prices are different as there are more ancient ruins and other sites up the top of the hill, I made sure to include the pricing board in the vlog (stop video at 0.31)
☄ There is a cafe at the top of the hill which has a beautiful view down the white mineral thermal pools
☄ Mud is free and you find it at the bottom of the thermal pools

GLORIOUS PAMUKKALE // Turkey
With out of doubt one of Turkeys biggest attraction, the legendary Pamukkale. Mountain of minerals and geothermal activity. Once a ancient city and now a tourist attraction.

PAMUKKALE THERMAL POOLS | TURKEY | VLOG
Wow, what a place!
The Pamukkale thermal springs are a UNESCO world heritage site and were honestly so unique and surreal to any other place! The white clay and ice coloured water made it seem like we were on a snowy mountain, only the water was hot and the ground was very soft.
We spent hours playing around in these pools, giving each other face masks, having clay fights, and drawing clay patterns on our bodies. This will definitely be an experience I will remember for a long time.

Pamukkale, 'Cotton castle' in Turkish is a small town in Denizli province and a popular tourist attraction. This video is based on my visit to the travertines (thermal pools) of Pamukkale which is also must do activity if you are on a trip to Turkey. I have shared information on entrance fee, opening-closing time, Do's and don'ts, touched a bit of history of Hierapolis which is an ancient city adjacent to the travertines.
