Today I went to Roadside America. It's a Christmas putz on steroids. really well done. One single man did the entire project with help from his wife. It is a masterful recreation of a town near Gettysburg, PA called Fairfield. The display is an obvious labor of love. It is a must see. The late Laurence T. Built in 1935, this masterfully crafted miniature diorama of small town America's history has been attracting tourists traveling on I-78 since. Laurence Gieringer, the man behind this heartwarming vision of a perfect country died in 1963 and nothing has been added since then. Join me as I explore this time capsule of roadside attraction Americana and be sure to stay for the awesome finale!

We have been here several times, and always enjoy this part of our visit. Places like this are few and far between now, and should be cherished for the treasure they are! ????
