Moving an Antique Elevator Govenor into Dieselducy's Museum
For those of you who don't know, I visited Dieselducy out in Roanoke last week. After a long day of traveling, Andrew knew exactly what I felt like doing: Heavy lifting! All joking aside, it was fun helping out a cause that I support (preserving elevator history). Andrew's museum has really grown a lot, and this new exhibit is a great addition to his extensive collection. It took the combined efforts of Andrew, Nick, and I to get this massive piece in the house. Brendan (Appalachian Elevators) used my camera to film us.

This is the awesome Schindler MT hydraulic elevator in the Barnes and Noble at the Coronado Center Mall. This elevator has an awesome motor; but that annoying fan masks it somewhat. The elevator looks pretty new. I'd say it was installed around 10 years ago.

The Famous Center in the Square Parking Garage Elevator
[Recorded August 2013] No visit to Roanoke is complete without visiting every elevator made famous by Dieselducy! I can remember watching videos of this one for many years, so it was cool getting to see it in person. Jeff (thewildeeper) was along for the ride with me, and Andrew (Dieselducy) decided to stay behind and take some stills. Believe it or not, I actually managed to find the picture Andrew took of us at the end of the video!

Our Moving Adventure To NC - Ode to DieselDucy
In our efforts to relocate to North Carolina we drove down there in one day. We then rented a U-haul and moved the stuff I had in storage from a previous stay and drove to our new apartment. We moved in our stuff, gave a Lisa hugs and kisses and flew back the next day. In all of this David was thrilled to see that at every step there was an elevator or moving sidewalk. He watches dieselducy's channel all the time and now he has an elevator video too!!

Stony Brook University Part 3 - The Elevator Show
During my July 2014 visit to New York, Dan (YouTube: SchindlerHaughton) showed me around the campus of Stony Brook University. As far as college campuses go, there's a pretty good variety of elevators to see. The campus is fairly large and I shot a LOT of videos, so I decided to compile them into 3 videos.
