What to do in ROATAN Honduras for a Day on a Cruise Ship Excursion
What is there to do in a day while on a cruise ship when visiting Roatan Honduras?! As it turns out there is a ton of cruise ship excursions that are available!
Roatan Honduras is a popular cruise port that offers amazing shore excursions from the best beaches, water activities such as snorkeling, snuba, scuba diving, parasailing, and jet skiing and much more!
During our visit to Roatan we booked a tour that gave us the opportunity to experience a little bit of everything from learning the history, to visiting a chocolate factory and learn how chocolate is made, an animal sanctuary for monkeys and sloths, water taxi ride to beat the traffic and see so much of the island.

Mahogany Bay is the cruise ship port owned by Carnival Corporation, located on the beautiful island of Roatan.
In this video the girls enjoyed a day at the beach and a delicious lunch.
For lunch they Shared Fried Red Snapper and Caribbean Jerk Chicken both served with Fried Plantains, Salad and Rice & Beans.
Mahogany Bay is a free beach where you can relax and enjoy the islands
white sandy beach that has access to clear ocean water.
Fees for covered beach lounge and hammock.
While at this beach, you can access water-gear rental shops,
and rent out water gear such as paddle boards,
snorkeling gear, kayaks, wave runners and more.
How to get there?
Two ways, enjoy and ride on The Magical Flying Beach Chair, from
Mahogany Bay's main plaza, through the treetops and lets you gently off directly on the warm white sand of Mahogany Beach.
ALL DAY PASS will allow unlimited rides on the chairlift.
Magical Flying Chair Lift that takes cruise ship guests from the welcome center to beautiful Mahogany Beach,
Cost for riding the Mahogany Bay Chair Lift is $14 for adults and $8 for Children, Under the age of 3 rides free. (2019 prices)
You can also take the shaded walking path that will get you to the beach in a matter of minutes.

Roatan 2019 Snapshot
This 20-minute video provides a snapshot of Roatán, a tropical island and snorkeling and scuba-diving mecca 65km (40 miles) off the north coast of Honduras.
We spent two weeks there in late February 2019 as guests of friends who love Roatán so much, they've bought a vacation home in Sandy Bay.
The Meso-American Reef, the secnd-largest reef system in the world, is literally just off-shore, and the waters are clear and warm, which makes it ideal for snorkelers and divers.
Roatán is in the Central time-zone, and the airport at Coxen Hole has daily service from Houston, Atlanta and Miami as well as flights to the Honduran mainland, plus weekly charter flights from Toronto and Montreal.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL TIP: US dollars and Honduran Lempiras (1 USD = 24 Lempiras) are the only currencies accepted on Roatán, and if you bring US dollars, it's critical that none of the bills has any nicks or tears, as merchants and banks will not accept any US bills that are not in perfect condition!

It has been way too long, youtube! What’s good? I got back from my vacation on the 14th and I wanted to get this vlog out sooner but June is always a really busy month for me. Not to mention I just made it past the first year anniversary of my little brother’s passing.
My mental health has been a little shaky but I am taking it one day at a time. ❤️
The hotel/resort we stayed at was called Paradise Beach and they took amazing care of us. We even compared where we were staying to other local hotels and we felt like we chose the best one. Highly recommend staying with them if you ever find yourself traveling to Roatan.
The beaches were UNREAL. I had by far the best snorkeling experiences of my life here.

we got he $88 Full Island Package, I will give you a quick tour of the island and all activites you can do! the food was really good and the day was amazing. They have some amazing animals on the island so make sure to leave some time to check them out!
Later in the video we went back on the cruise ship and I ate a lot of food and went to the casino. We went to watch the ice skating show on Allure of the seas

Gumbalimba Preservation Park in Roatan, Honduras: Cruise Shore Excursion
