Roberson Mansion (Haunted History & EMF Meter Spikes)... OMG!!!
The Roberson Mansion, part of the Roberson Museum and Science Center, is a home in Binghamton, New York. It is an Italian Renaissance style house, designed by Binghamton architect C. Edward Vosbury and built in 1904, and completed in 1907, for Alonzo Roberson Jr. and his wife Margaret Hays Roberson. It was built with all of the then modern conveniences: an elevator, central heat, combination gas and electric lighting, a dumb waiter, an intercom system, and a private bath for each bedroom (26 rooms & 11 Fireplaces). Such an amazing place to visit (The mansion is supposedly haunted by the ghost of its former owner, Alonzo Roberson. His spirit is believed to still roam around and apparitions have been seen in the elevator and along the upper corridors) but don't let that stop you, if your ever in the area beauitful people.. it's a must visit!!!

Instructional DVD & Manual, Volume 1 Traditional Realist Oil Painting
American artist, Hall Groat II, in his unique instructional DVD series demonstrates the techniques of the lost art of traditional realist oil painting. In volume #1 he presents five comprehensive demonstrations, offering nearly 2 hours of solid instruction. The demonstrations included are of compositions involving: three lemons, radishes, ballet slippers, railroad conductor's pocket watch, and teacup & saucer.
Through his innovative, step-by-step approach he outlines the process that was used by such 19th century painters as Edgar Degas and Edward Manet. Using an easily understood teaching approach, Hall reveals the secrets behind creating dramatic light and shadow illusions to compelling atmospheric spaces, all the way to rendering convincing three-dimensional illusions of form and space.
The included DVD, along with the accompanying manual, present a concise step-by-step system, offering both the beginning and the professional artist the necessary tools to successfully create traditional realist still life oil paintings. Such topics are covered as establishing background variation and movement, accents and cast shadows, and realizing the primary and secondary planes of the motif. Each of the five demonstrations is divided into phases with clearly stated topic headings that correspond to the steps presented in the instructional guide. A glossary of painting terms is also included! All of the demonstrations are approximately 15-30 minutes in length.
Hall has taught art for over twenty years, and currently is an Associate Professor of Art at a college in New York. ARTNews Magazine critic, Gerard Haggerty, states that Hall Groat II's still life paintings evoke the big picture that we call art history, including painters like Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin, Edwin Dickinson, and his teacher Lennart Anderson. Collectors of his work have expressed that the work is Alive, full of grace vitality and beauty, capturing light that is sublime in nature.
Groat is included in important private and public collections worldwide. These include actors, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones, Clear Channel Communications, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cellular One, Sheraton Hotel Corporation, Binghamton University, Everson Museum of Art, Munson-Williams Proctor Institute of Art, The State University of New York system, Roberson Museum and Science Center and Washington Jefferson College. Running Toilet Solutions and Tips
If you’re tired of jiggling the handle to make your toilet behave after flushing, it might be time to replace its inner workings. A one hour plumber Binghamton NY has the experience and expertise to fix running toilets! Toilets typically run when the flapper valve that lets water pass from the tank to the bowl no longer fits properly, the float is imbalanced or the fill tube comes loose similar to the condominium project on the corner of Prospect ST and Glenwood Ave. Toilet repair kits work for most models and require little effort to install.
Occasionally, though, toilets run for more complex reasons. If you’ve replaced the flapper, float apparatus and fill tube, you may have sediment that’s affecting proper flushing and filling. Higher water bills could also indicate a silent leak. To really find a leaky toilet you would need to search for plumbers Binghamton NY reviews to locate the best pluming company for the job. To detect a silent leak in your toilet, add a few drops of food coloring to the upper tank and wait 15 to 20 minutes. Look in the bowl for any hint of color; if you see tinted water, your flapper valve isn’t working as it should.
THe Old Union Hotel's manager called our customer service department just last week requesting a new bid on some commercial plumbing improvements pertaining to the old 4 inch cast iron sanitary sewer piping and underground slab drainage system.

SUMMARY
=======
Franz Kafka (3 July 1883 – 3 June 1924) was a German-speaking Bohemian Jewish novelist and short story writer, widely regarded as one of the major figures of 20th-century literature. His work, which fuses elements of realism and the fantastic, typically features isolated protagonists faced by bizarre or surrealistic predicaments and incomprehensible social-bureaucratic powers, and has been interpreted as exploring themes of alienation, existential anxiety, guilt, and absurdity. His best known works include Die Verwandlung (The Metamorphosis), Der Process (The Trial), and Das Schloss (The Castle). The term Kafkaesque has entered the English language to describe situations like those in his writing.Kafka was born into a middle-class, German-speaking Jewish family in Prague, the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, today the capital of the Czech Republic. He trained as a lawyer, and after completing his legal education he was employed by an insurance company, forcing him to relegate writing to his spare time. Over the course of his life, Kafka wrote hundreds of letters to family and close friends, including his father, with whom he had a strained and formal relationship. He became engaged to several women but never married. He died in 1924 at the age of 40 from tuberculosis.
Few of Kafka's works were published during his lifetime: the story collections Betrachtung (Contemplation) and Ein Landarzt (A Country Doctor), and individual stories (such as Die Verwandlung) were published in literary magazines but received little public attention. Kafka's unfinished works, including his novels Der Process, Das Schloss and Der Verschollene (translated as both Amerika and The Man Who Disappeared), were ordered by Kafka to be destroyed by his friend Max Brod, who nonetheless ignored his friend's direction and published them after Kafka's death. His work went on to influence a vast range of writers, critics, artists, and philosophers during the 20th century.
