Agonda beach is one of the best beaches of Goa located in South Goa. If anybody asks the names of top 5 beaches of Goa, Agonda is definitely there in the answer. Agonda is a pretty long beach (about 4 kms) with different views. However, the most important is the rock formation at the south side. I have shown the huge rocks of Agonda in this video.

गोवा डायरी Goa Diary Day 18/22- Agonda Beach Church Rock Formations Palolem Beach
Our next target was to visit Agonda beach. Agonda is about 12 kms from Palolem. Actually there is a nice road between palolem and Agonda and some busses are there atleast once in every 30-40 minutes. Bus takes about 15 rs per head. However, we had to walk about 2 kms from the bus stop to Agonda beach.

We also visited St. Anne’s Church near Agonda beach. It is quite a big church running schools and other institutions. Agonda is about 12 kms from Palolem, 15 kms from Canacona, 18 kms from Cabo de Rama, 40 kms from Margao and 60 kms from Vasco da Gama. Quite a few busses are available from Palolem/Canacona to Agonda for 15-20 rs.
After visiting Agonda beach we came back to Palolem. As we had some time in our hand we visited Palolem beach again. As I mentioned in earlier videos Palolem beach is at extreme south of Goa, about 40 kms south to Colva, about 60 kms south to Panaji and about 80 kms south to Arambol. Palolem is a small village, very limited busses and autos, very limited shops and markets. Main occupation is fishing followed by tourism.
The beach is about 3 kms long. You can see Canacona Island here, a mountain in the sea. On the south side of the beach there is beautiful rock formation. You can climb on the rocks and go to Colomb beach which is south to Palolem.

Amazing Rock Formations in Vagator Beach Goa
Vagator beach is located above Anjuna beach and below Chapora fort. However you cannot walk from Anjuna beach to Vagator because of Rocks and Mountains. Vagator beach is one of the top three beaches of North Goa. It is a rocky beach, though there is some stretch of sandy beach towards north. There are three parts to see, one the view point on the cliff (parking area), second the rocky beach and third the sandy beach with sweet water springs. The rock formations are really superb. You can see rocks of different colors continuously washed by sea waves. You can also see Chapora fort on the right just above Vagator beach.

Talpona तल्पणा South side Rocky beach- Goa
We first went to the north side. After the beach ended we found a narrow route and went further to explore the route. After about half km we found a small beach full of stones everywhere. That was a fantastic exploration and we enjoyed rock climbing in the beach.
Then we returned back to main beach and took a walk to south side. On the south side there were numerous rocks. It was a fantastic experience to walk in the rocky beach and play hide and seek with sea water. Don’t forget to visit Talpona, Galjibag, Colomb, CabodeRama, Palolem and Agonda beaches when you are in Goa.
