Rare geological arch
The arch is one of the few natural arches or bridges in Asia.
Natural Arch, Tirumala hills is a distinctive geological feature 1 km north of the Tirumala hills temple, near the Chakra Teertham in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
In the 1980s, during excavations for a geological fault in the Tirumala hills, geologists found this rare geological formation of the rock arch which has two dissimilar sets of rocks with a connecting thin link. The assessed geological age of the rock arch is 2.5 million years. Formation of the arch is attributed to intensified weathering and erosion of stream action that has withstood the torque of nature. This is a rare geological fault which is technically called in the geological idiom as ‘Eparchaean Unconformity.

Tirupati - Silathoranam -- A natural rock formation in INDIA -- (( HD ))

A natural rock formation, which has got enormous value from archaeological point of view, Silathoranam near the Chakra Teertham is a must see spectacle. Since the rock look likes and appears to be the hood of a serpent, a conch and a discus, it is conceived that this source is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara idol.

This arch formation is categorized as pre-Cambrian that dates back to millions of years ago. It is said that there are only two other sites like this in the entire world itself. The other two are the one that cuts through the headland of the Dalradian Quartzite in Ukand and the Rainbow Arch Bridge of Utah in USA .

Geologists found out Silathoranam accidentally whilst excavating a geological fault on Tirumala Hills. This wonderful phenomena of nature has been subjected to various schools of thoughts. Some are of the view that it could be the effect of a wave action from oceanic transgression or intensified climatic settings and corrosion. Others opined that it might have been carved out of quartzite. A national monument protected by the state government, this natural splendor fascinated quite a number of tourists.

1.Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala
Venkateswara Temple is a landmark Vaishnavite temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

2.Sri venkateswara zoological park
Big zoo featuring an array of exotic animals, including white tigers, plus a lion safari.

3.MS.Subalakshmi Statue
The bronze statue of the legendary M.S. Subbulakshmi at the Poornakumbham circle.She has famously rendered Balaji Pancharatnamala, including Vishnu Sahasra Namam, Bhaja Govindam and other classical tributes. Even now, the day in the hill town of Tirumala begins with the melodious voice of MS singing the Venkateswara Suprabhatam.

4.Sri Venkateswara National Park
Sri Venkateshwara National Park is a national park and biosphere reserve in Andhra Pradesh, India. The total area of the park is 353 km². The park is known for its many waterfalls including the Talakona, Gundalakona and Gunjana.

5.Sri Venkateswara Museum

6.Tirumala Deer Park Reserve

You can feel god presence at this location. you can also see some natural arches in utah state arches national park.

The Garuda is a large legendary bird, bird-like creature, or humanoid bird that appears in both. In Bali, we can find the tallest Garuda statue of 18 metres tall made from tons of copper and brass.
