Accident in Barnstaple, England
I had been considering doing public photography for a while. As you can see a camper just decided to park itself in its own special parking spot.
Cops were happy to ignore me filming, but after I stopped filming the guy in the high viz jacket approached me and told me he was going to beat the s*** out of me. So I approached the cop remaining who was taking a statement from the driver, the wife of high-viz guy.
I asked the cop to point out to Mr high-viz that filming in public was perfectly fine - yes I should have turned my camera back on, but couldn't for reasons involving my job - and high-viz, pulled me and pushed me a couple of times. I pointed out to the cop that this was technically assault, but cop wasnt interested and told me to take it to the po-lease station. I got his name and badge number (but cos this was my first video post, by the time Iit was ready I'd forgotten it. Not really bothered, just a slight education for rent-a-scrub may have been useful and polite
Good work though, I will be auditing when my job permits and Barnstaple police are now top of my list

Created from a 3D laser scan of Hoaroak Cottage to accurately record the ruin prior to conservation works in 2012 and 2013. A very rewarding project funded by the Heathcoat and Amory Trusts, Heritage Lottery Fund and Exmoor National Park Authority via the Heart of Exmoor Scheme. (Oh, and the armed forces! See chinook video!)
Discovering Beautiful Isolated Land - Exmoor National Park - Barnstaple to Lynmouth - Tarka Trail
I'm on a business trip to film, do photography and promote the trail called the Tarka Trail. This is an epic journey through the great British countryside. I really love the isolation here during winter, the weather isn't perfect, but we were prepare for it! At the end, overall, the weather has been nice to us, and it was a great experience and memory. Come join us in our 3 days long distance walk!
