Kijkt u mee?

Rock My Adventure - Small Group Africa Tours
Let me show you a different side of Africa. Not the Africa you see in the media, but the colourful, adventurous, wild and real Africa I know and love! Join me on a Rock My Adventure small group Africa tour!
Rock My Adventure tours are culturally immersive trips created by me to show you a rounded portrayal of the countries we visit and leave you with a new group of like-minded friends and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. I work with the best local operators to provide you with the highly personalised African adventure you’ve always dreamed of.
Rock My Adventures aren’t typical ‘africa tours’. They’re fun and laid-back group trips, that are similar to an independent backpacking trip, but with some free time to explore and do your own thing and a group of friends built in (plus I take away all the planning stress) – the best of both worlds!
Each trip is limited to 8 people to provide you with an intimate and authentic backpacking travel experience. Keeping numbers low ensures that the trips don’t feel too ‘tour’ like and allows us to get to know each other properly and make new friends as we go too!
Tours to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, the DRC, Malawi, Zambia & Botswana!

Safari Tanzania! Experience Southern Tanzania Safari with Sand & Safari Company [HD]
When people imagine a safari without realizing it they are visualizing Tanzania. From the vast plains of the Serengeti to the white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean it truly is the ultimate Sand & Safari destination.
Our Tanzania is wild and adventurous with an old world safari style. Each park unique and diverse. We want to tailor make your tour and design it to your individual requirements. Blending your ideas and interests with our intimate knowledge.
Sand
There is no better way to end your safari than on the white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean. Kick back and relax. We can organize it all from a boutique hotel in Stone Town to a secluded beach villa or resort. Tanzania has it all from the Islands of Zanzibar, Mafia or Pemba. Why not explore our underwater wildlife with a diving or snorkeling trip. Let's not forget the mainland has some incredible beach locations too.
Northern Tanzania Safaris
With snow capped Kilimanjaro, vast plains of the Serengeti, red cloaked Maasai warriors and wildlife packed Ngorongoro Crater, these iconic attractions have drawn tourists in their hundreds of thousands for decades. But wait there's more! Mt Meru, the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara and Arusha all add to the diversity of this popular region. The close proximity of all the attractions make for easy tranfers allowing for more time relaxing or on safari.
Southern Tanzania Safaris
A visit to the south of Tanzania and its parks is well off the beaten track. Unlike the north the south receives far less visitors and animals far outnumber 4x4 vehicles! We live nearby in the Southern highlands and have been sending tourists into the regions parks. They always remark that they've enjoyed the contrast over the hectic northern parks and their abundance of tourists. The south offers much better value for money with park fees being considerably lower and with camps of a high standard. The south will provide you with an authentic safari experience within it's various remote and unspoiled parks. This circuit can be arranged with 4x4 vehicle or light aircraft. We also offer escorted safaris. All safaris are tailor made to suit your interests and requirements. Add on Zanzibar to complete your Sand & Safari experience.
Western Tanzania
A few words help sum up the west of the country... Raw, remote, vast, rewarding. Still very much as it was when Stanley found Livingstone here back in 1871. Travel must be meticulously arranged, that's where we come in. The region is largely trackless therefore more adventurous. It contains 2 of the worlds finest Chimp encounter opportunities, made famous thanks to Jane Goodalls incredible research in Gombe Stream NP.
A safari here is intense and unforgettable. Animal numbers can be astounding. Few visitors to the region promises apart from your expert guides you will have the place to yourselves.

Liefs, Selma

Why Visit Tanzania?
In the summer I travelled to Tanzania on an Outlook Expedition. I met 4 lads from different schools around the country who were sound. Despite our Expedition leader being terrible, and being a hypocrite throughout the trip, it was an amazing and rewarding trip. This is some of the clips I gathered from my camera with one battery meaning I unfortunately didn't get any of when we met the Masiah trip. Enjoy....

ZANZIBAR - KENDWA ROCKS BEACH ROAD TRIP IN TANZANIA TRAVEL VLOG
Kendwa rocks travel vlog : Kendwa rocks beach tanzania is about 3 km from Nungwi, an easy walk along the beach during low tide, but impossible at high tide. The only option is a schlepp along back roads, hard going on the rocky roads, or a boat trip at a steep $20 per trip. One could perhaps walk to Nungwi at low tide and take the sunset cruise from there and ask to be dropped off at Kendwa.
The 2 km connecting road from the main route to the north was re-graded in 2007, and while still rough, is not nearly as bad as before. There is little difference here between high and low tides so swimming is possible any time of day. There may be some cloud and wind and quick rainshowers in June/July but the sun is usually out and the weather very pleasant. The beach is fine white sand or ground shells, the water turquoise blue, the sunsets spectacular and the local boat activity picturesque.
Snorkeling trips are offered to the local Coral Gardens at $10, or round the northern tip of Zanzibar to Mnemba Island on the east coast (full day for $17 - $20). These trips are on the steady wooden dhows that are built in Nungwi with even the beams and benches hewn from trees. Although motorised, sails are hoisted to utilise the wind.
Never pay in advance in promise to be picked up at a given time. They might do, but when they don't, don't expect money back. There is enough competition for you to say you will pay when you get to the boat.
A Kendwa Village tour is offered by a local ngo where all profits are given back to the community. It is run by Kendwa community tours & safaris (office between Eden and Gold hotel) for 20$ when you contact them directly. It usually takes 2-3h finishing with a local meal. You can see Kendwa outside the resorts wall.
Kendwa Rocks' organizes Full Moon Parties. You have first to load cash on a card they give to you at a separate counter, as the bar does not accept any cash. Make sure to ask for a receipt to the person loading the cash (even if he insists that you don't need it), as some mistakes from the cash loaders have been reported. Also, although some bartenders claim that you don't have to pay if you arrive earlier than 10:00 pm and stay thereafter at the full moon party, this information is erroneous: if they find you after that time without the wristband they give to you when you arrive later and pay your entrance, the angry manager or the guards may kick you out.
The beach in front of Kendwa Rocks has wifi.
If you walk left when reaching the beach (South), you'll hit some gorgeous empty beaches with no buildings and no infrastructure. The perfect place to get away from the touts and have your own paradise.
Meals are at around $5 - $20 at the various restaurants right on the beach. Although some of the restaurants have smaller portions, the food is delicious and mostly cooked well. I would recommend eating Seafood dishes rather than beef or even chicken.
At the Taj Mahal restaurant of the Amaan Kendwa hotel a whole fish per person (red snapper) is grilled to perfection.
The restaurant at Kendwa Breezes has excellent Prawns Pili Pili and Lobster Thermidor.
Mama Muzungu. A small local restaurant outside the gates of Eden hotel. Typical local food for 2000 shillings. ( Around 1$-2$US)
During high season (July & August, December & January) reservations are recommended. Particularly around New Years Eve, the Kendwa hotels can be fully booked as far in advance as the preceding July.

Tanzania | From City to Waves
Located in Eastern Africa within the African Great Lakes region is the United Republic of Tanzania. Although Dodoma is the capital of this state, Dar es Salaam, the former capital, retains most government offices and is the country's largest city, principal port, and leading commercial center. Surprisingly enough, Tanzania can boast about its 100 spoken, making it the most linguistically diverse country in East Africa. While their official languages are Swahili and English, Swahili is widely promoted, contributing to the decline of the uncommon languages.

Zanzibar
Zanzibar
