We didn't make it to the lake as the snow was too deep but it was a good day nonetheless.

Vraiment impressionnant.

ROCKBOUND LAKE HIKE
SUBSCRIBE:
Rockbound Lake near Banff, Alberta is tucked away behind the sheer cliff walls of Castle Mountain. It is such a beautiful lake and hike that Adam and I hiked up there and spent the night, which happened ot be during the Perseid Meteor Shower.
Thanks for watching!

Ink Pots are a group of seven crystal-clear, jade-green and very beautiful spring-fed pools of water located in a meadow above Johnston Creek past the Upper and Lower Falls in Johnston Canyon. The source of the warm water feeding the pristine jade pools is unknown.

Castle Mountain Scramble (HD), Lake Louise, August 17
Here is our ascent of #CastleMountain between Banff and Lake Louise in the Bow Valley. Wonderful weather and for a 28km scramble it really isn't as bad as the distance dictates. We did the scramble in 10 hours return which included a 1-hour summit stay. There are 2 easy scrambling sections on the entire hike. Beautiful views of Tower Lake, Rockbound Lake, and Eisenhower Tower as well as the entire Bow Valley. Lots of people at Rockbound lake when we got down. We were the only group to summit this day. #thenorthface @thenorthface @mammut #mammut
