Incredible Rocky Mountains - Day 3 - Landscape Travel Photography
This was the final incredible day of the 3 day travel photography trip I took to the Rocky Mountains. Incredible views at Vermillion Lakes, Banff National Park, wildlife sightings, images from the top of Sulphur Mountain and the Banff Gondola, and Lake Louise in winter. This trip left an impression on my heart...
Landscape Photography - Banff National Park and Jasper National Park in 7 Days!
The Canadian Rockies had been on my list of places to photograph for many years. In June 2017, it finally became a reality. We decided to focus our 7 day landscape photography trip in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. We had high expectations and were not disappointed with the amazing and diverse scenery that was seemingly found everywhere we explored. Since it was summer time, daylight lasted very long and we wanted to make the most of it! We averaged 19 hour days to catch both sunrise and sunset, always eager to experience the next location (and the journey to it!). In addition, Canada was celebrating their 150th Anniversary, so national park passes were on the house! These two parks were amazing to see, but are just a fraction of the beauty Alberta and Canada have to offer. We will definitely have to return and explore more! Hope you enjoy the video!

Incredible Rocky Mountains - 3 Day Photography Trip: Days 1&2
This is days 1 & 2 of my incredible 3 day winter photography trip to the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Canmore & Banff, Alberta and British Columbia. From sunrise to sunset, I spend the day shooting with photographer Kristin Repsher capturing canyons, mountain peaks, night sky, snow, ice and so much more. I will never forget this trip - travel photography at its best. If you can go, go.
A TOUR OF THE MAJESTIC ROCKY MOUNTAINS Banff National Park
The Highlights of our trip to Banff in Autumn 2016. We were there in the middle of September 2016. The day we arrived had snow, then we had nothing but pure sun for the week!! and Temps in the low 20s...with chilly mornings..A few days after we left they had a huge dump of snow!! About 30cm...So we dodged two bullets!!

Canadian Rocky Mountains
Banff Johnston Canyon - as Johnston Creek approaches the Bow River, it flows through a large canyon formed by erosion over thousands of years. The creek has cut through the limestone rock to form sheer canyon walls, as well as waterfalls, tunnels, and pools.
A popular hiking trail follows the canyon and leads to a meadow within the Johnston Valley above the canyon. The first part of the trail consists of a constructed walkway with safety rails and bridges, while the last part of the trail is natural and more rugged. Within the meadow are the Ink Pots, which are six blue-green spring-fed pools. The Ink Pots themselves are mineral springs that differ in colour because each pool fills at a different rate. According to a sign The Milky-Green Pools Fill More Slowly And Have A Heavier Suspension Of Fine Materials Than The Clear, Deep-Blue Pools
Johnston Canyon is one of the most popular destinations in Banff National Park, and for good reason; it is a place of dramatic natural beauty accessible to most. It is particularly popular during the summer and at certain times of the winter. If you seek a more peaceful experience, try visiting Johnston Canyon during the spring and fall, or make the most of the long summer days by going in the early morning or mid evening.

ADVENTURE IN THE CANADIAN ROCKIES - JOHNSTON CANYON ALBERTA
Hey guys! In this episode, Tadd's brother Tyson and I go on a journey to Johnston Canyon in Alberta, Canada. ???? We left a little late in the day so it got dark pretty quickly, so we didn't end up getting the video shots we were hoping for, but the photos ended up being better than we planned, and we found the perfect location to get the shots that Tyson wanted for his music video. Until next time! Much love,
Millie xo ♥

Adventure in the Rocky Mountains | T+R's Wedding Film, Canmore, Banff + Lake Louise Lodge
▶ Check out my gear on Kit:
As a non-Canadian, I love that I have a job where I get flown across the country to film in some of the most beautiful locations. The fact that I'm making a personal and emotional film that means the world to wonderful couple fills me with pride and happiness.
T+ R were one of those couples that were just fully down with helping me make the best film I could. This was especially evident in their interview session where they opened up and revealed to me their innermost feelings about their relationship. It always amazes me with couple's feel comfortable enough to do this. I'm not sure I would be able to open up in this way if the situation were reversed. They gave us (along with their photographer Carey Nash) plenty of time to get some great beauty shots and just said yes to everything we asked of them.
We shot this wedding in September, and I can honestly say the whole experience was perfect for us. Getting to shoot in the mountains, with a fun loving, energetic and open couple. We hiked up to Lake Louise the next day too (just for fun) and rounded off an incredible weekend with the thought don't we just have the best job?.

Banff is a town within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It is located in Alberta's Rockies along the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 126 km (78 mi) west of Calgary and 58 km (36 mi) east of Lake Louise. At an elevation of 1,400 m (4,600 ft) to 1,630 m (5,350 ft), Banff is the community with the second highest elevation in Alberta after Lake Louise.
The Town of Banff was the first municipality to incorporate within a Canadian national park. The town is a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership.
Banff is a resort town and one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations, known for its mountainous surroundings and hot springs. It is a destination for outdoor sports and features extensive hiking, biking, scrambling and skiing areas within the area. Sunshine Village, Ski Norquay and Lake Louise Mountain Resort are the three nearby ski resorts located within the national park. Must visit in Banff National Park

Moraine Lake Bucket Shot | 4K UHD Landscape Photography Travel Vlog | Banff
This video is the first edition created in October 2018. To see the director's cut (the second version) click here:
4K UHD video: This was a dream bucket shot photo op! My bucket list shot has always been Moraine Lake in Banff National Park under fresh snow, but it is next to impossible to get. Here is why:
1. The 11 Km (7 mile) road to Moraine Lake closes every year on October 10th.
2. The lake often freezes over before there is a fresh snowfall, and you want the water in its unfrozen state to get the reflections.
3. Often the skies are cloudy after a snowfall. It is next to impossible to get clear sky at the same time as snow on the trees.
To get all three factors to line up is practically impossible, especially considering that I live 12 hours away by car. Being there at the right time is incredibly difficult.
But this time the stars came into alignment. I was there the day after a fresh early season snowfall, and when the sky was clear. Even better, I was the only person there during a time when normally there would be hundreds of people at the viewpoint. How was this possible? You need to watch the video to find out!
Moraine Lake is the most beautiful place in all of Canada. Photographs of Moraine Lake under snow, in high resolution, are not all that common. I have wanted this photo for my entire adult life and finally it happened. It has literally been my bucket shot. This 4K UHD video travel vlog is my landscape photography journey to get this bucket shot.
