Allan Work The Heart Behind The PG Roll-A-Dome
We have all been to the Roll-A-Dome at one point or another, enjoying the roller-skating and throwback feel of one of Prince George's greatest treasures. The man behind it all is Allan Work, who has been in the roller-skating business for 50 years, and loves providing a place for locals to enjoy, even if he doesn't much like the attention.
Clark Visiting Prince George
Christy Clark is arriving in Prince George within the hour. The BC Liberal leader will be at a tailgate party at 5:45 at the Roll-A-Dome. She spent the day in Burns Lake, visiting the site of the new sawmill. It's her second visit to the region since the writ dropped. An appearance by NDP leader Adrian Dix before voting day hasn't been confirmed, although he has been here twice in the last month.

Fighters from across western Canada gathered for the B.C. Silver Gloves championship held at the Roll-A-Dome in Prince George this past weekend (March 19 and 20).

RCMP Victim Services brought their Therapy Dogs
The Caring K-9 Institute was there, showing how therapy dogs are trained
At Level 1, they're learning their basic obedience and the rules of therapy dog work. As they progress throughout the levels, they learn more of the therapy work.

The Pineview 4H Club brought a llama, Monique, who was very popular.
The event successfully raised funds for the local BCSPCA through a silent auction, 50/50 draw and generous community donations

October 9, 2010 - The Skeena Leaving Prince George, BC for Jasper, Alberta
I had the honor and priviledge of filming with no glass barrier riding the Skeena as it left the PG railyard, crossed over the Fraser River and traveled on down the line about 10 more minutes. The fall leaves were in a swirl as we rolled on.

Pine Centre Celebrates 40 Years
One of the City's largest gathering places is celebrating a milestone birthday this year. Pine Centre Mall turns 40 in November. The city's first and only enclosed mall has a series of celebrations planned to mark the anniversary, beginning this morning with the opening of its Nostalgia lounge.
