Police Intercept Moped Thieves in Manchester
Police in Manchester intercept moped thieves riding dangerously in this crazy video of moped thieved being caught.
In a video captured in North Manchester on May 12, two mopeds are seen driving side-by-side and veering across Hollinwood avenue in the Moston neighbourhood.
As the mopeds stop at a roundabout, they are intercepted by two off-road motorbikes, apparently belonging to Greater Manchester Police.
One moped rider crashes into the plain-clothes police officer and runs off, while the other – carrying two people – is restrained by another officer.
Shortly afterwards, a marked police motorbike appears. Seeing one of the suspects escaping, it speeds off in chase.

Ros Hayes Interview - ADPA Association of Dance & Performing Arts Rochdale Manchester
Interview with Ros Hayes from CVS Rochdale on the work of ADPA (Association of Dance and Performing Arts)
ADPA - We aim to inspire and improve the immediate and long-term prospects of young people affected by parental offending, domestic violence & other issues.
ADPA (The Association of Dance & Performing Arts) is a non-profit organisation limited by guarantee No. 07962184.
The Founders, Trustees, appointed Advisors to the Board and their tireless team of Support Workers all unconditionally donate their time, expertise and dedication in a strictly unpaid, voluntary capacity.
Why? Because they all share the same passion to see a reduction in local crime and suffering and to improve the prospects of defined groups of young people. Identified groups include children and teenagers who, as a result of being exposed to parental / sibling alcohol or drug abuse, parental imprisonment or domestic violence are at high risk (in relation to their counterparts) of committing or experiencing:
anti-social behaviour
low self-esteem
under-achieving
emotional disorders
behavioual problems
severe poverty
stigma
unwanted pregnancy
exclusion from school
long-term unemployment
offending
Adult imprisonment
Sustained Chaos, Abuse, Parental Imprisonment, Drug / Alcohol Abuse, Family Violence ...
In the absence of positive diversion, these images depict an all too familiar journey from childhood, to teens through to adulthood. ADPA's projects are designed to inspire, increase self-esteem, unlock potential and provide real-life social skills leading to peer mentoring roles, voluntary work, work experience and even paid employment.
Based in and initially serving Rochdale and the surrounding Greater Manchester areas, it is hoped that ADPA's projects can in the future be replicated all over England (U.K)
