Zack and I took a little trip to Italy and our first stop was ROME! We LOVED this beautiful city. There's so much to do and see, the food is fantastic and we had the best time. We were there in September 2019 and the weather was perfect, but it was still pretty crowded, which I was not expecting! Follow us around Rome in this vlog!
We stayed at the NH Collection roma fori imperiali and we had the BEST experience. I'll talk more about this in my blog post :)

Cityscape Photography in Rome - Photographing the Forum Romanum
In this photography VLOG I take you behind the scenes of my photoshoot at the Forum Romanum in Rome a few weeks ago. It was my first morning in Rome and I got some awesome light as a start. I took a blue hour photo of the Forum and a photo just around sunrise and I show you my complete setup, my workflow and in the end even a quick glimpse of my post processing.

Travel Photography in Italy - Rome
Landscape and Travel Photography in Rome, Italy.
As a stock travel and landscape photographer the need for me to explore is embedded within. To discover new places and capture them in the best way that I can.
From the 29th May to 1st June 2017 I visited Rome for the fourth time. Excessive? Absolutely not! I like to get the best out of a city that I can and if that means multiple visits then so be it. Even now after this short stay I still feel that I am only scratching the surface of the Eternal City.
The vlog show some of what I do during my time as a working travel stock photographer. Creating time lapse sequences and trying to work a particular view that interests me.
Something I will say about this particular vlog is that when listening back to it I seem to have lost the diction that I’d built up over the last few months so apologies for that.

Cityscape Photography in Rome - photographing the Spanish Steps
Part two of my Photographing Rome series, this time from the Spanish Steps. The Spanish Steps are usually a very crowded place. During day and in the evening it's impossible to take a serious photo there. But in the morning, like so many other places in Rome, it's completely empty.
In this behind the scenes video I show you my in the field process for photographing architecture and I also show some exposure blending at the end of the video.

Borghese Gallery - Rome, Lazio - Italy - Photo Tour
Borghese Gallery, Italian Galleria Borghese, state museum in Rome distinguished for its collection of Italian Baroque painting and ancient sculpture. It is located in the Borghese Gardens on the Pincian Hill and is housed in the Villa Borghese, a building designed by the Dutch architect Jan van Santen (Giovanni Vasanzio) and built between 1613 and 1616.
The paintings were largely collected in the 17th century by Pope Paul V (Camillo Borghese) and his nephew Cardinal Scipione Borghese, while the antiquities were primarily obtained by Marcantonio Borghese in the 18th century and by Francesco Borghese in the 19th century. In 1902 the villa and its collection were acquired from the Borghese family by the Italian government.

Roman Forum was ancient Rome's showpiece centre, a grandiose district of temples, basilicas and vibrant public spaces. The site, which was originally an Etruscan burial ground, was first developed in the 7th century BC, growing over time to become the social, political and commercial hub of the Roman empire.
According to Roman mythology, the Palatine was the birth-place of Romulus and Remus, the twin brothers suckled and raised by the she-wolf who were to become the founders of Rome.
