The area that is surrounding me when I took this video is call Rondane-Dovrefjell National Park. This is a very famous and unique National Park in Norway because wild Musk Ox roam wild here. This video gives you a taste of Norway's Eastern Interior!! Oppdal is one of the towns that is close to this location!
MOUNTAINS OF NORWAY - a film by Vincent Croce
The Eastern part of Norway is a very beautiful and from a foreign point of view, not so frequently visited part of the country, especially during the Winter. National Parks such as Rondane, Dovre, Dovrefjell, Jotunheimen and Breheimen are all situated fairly close from eachother. All of Norway's 2000 m peaks (or more) are located in these national parks.
Filmed and produced in March 2019 in association with Visit Norway and Mountains of Norway

Dovrefjell–Sunndalsfjella National Park Attractions in Rondane and| Top things to do in Dovrefjell
Dovrefjell–Sunndalsfjella National Park Attractions in Rondane and| Top things to do in Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park Dovrefjell is a mountain area in Central Norway that forms a natural barrier between East Norway and Middle Norway - det Nordenfjeldske (Norway north of the mountains, i.e. Dovrefjell). It was long believed to be Norway's highest mountains and remains as national symbol of sturdiness and durability. Most of the areas on the either side of road E6/Dovre railway line from Oppdal to Dombås is protected as a national parks. The area has been heavily trafficked during and probably preceding historical times. Due to often hash weather and road conditions, it has also been a barrier and a risk to the traveler. But nowadays, E6 and the Dovre railway is almost never closed due to extreme weather (less frequent than once a year). There are marked routes (summer) and (mostly unstaffed) cabins for hikers, but long trips, tough terrain and often hash weather makes this an area for the experienced hiker. But staying in the valleys aound the mountain, there are lot of nice and not-demanding day-trips with beautiful sceneries, an unique plant life, knowledge about local culture and a change to get a glimpse of parts of the animal life: May be a golden eagle soaring overhead, a muskox (keep your distance!) or if really lucky a reindeer in the distance.

The top is easily accessible from Gråsjøen or Trollheimshytta on the marked path. Another variant is to take the walk from Vindøldalen. At the same time there are several climbing routes to the top from the south. The top is characteristic and can easily be seen at a long distance, for example. from the heights of the Trondheim area. On the eastern side of Snota is a glacier called Snotbreen.

This was recorded with a Runcam Split 2 HD first person view (FPV) video camera installed to a 5' flying wing, while flying north of Lillehammer, Norway on 31 August 2019. I was driving from Lillehammer to Rondane National Park, Norway and these spots looked like they would have good views. The locations were here:
