Starlight Open Air Cinema Lanzarote opening night
Lanzarote now has it's first open air cinema, on the rooftop of the Biosfera shopping centre in Puerto del Carmen. Originally there had been a cinema planned for the Biosfera when it first opened years ago, and now it has arrived in a very special way. This is not just any ordinary cinema but an open air one with state of the air audio headsets, very comfortable seating, push button waiter service, and a full bar and snack service. You can enjoy movies under the stars with postcard views out to the ocean from the top of the Biosfera rooftop. This really is a unique and special way to enjoy some of the latest Blockbusters.
The LBRA were invited to the opening night of the cinema which was a private event, and a big success. There was a large audience who enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks including popcorn and hot paninis, and the top Hollywood Blockbuster 'The Martian', staring Matt Damon. Local media were there to cover the event, and we are sure the cinema will be a big success judging by how well this night went!
