10. Driving
Women aren't allowed to drive a car. Yes, sadly, it's true! It isn't by law but their religious beliefs forbid it. However, in 2011, a group of Saudi women did organize a campaign called Women2Drive, which encouraged women to disregard the same and post images and videos of themselves driving on social media.
9. Interact with men
They aren't allowed to interact with men. Well, this one's kind of a no-brainer. Saudi women are supposed to limit their interaction with men they aren't related to. Unlawful mixing leads to criminal charges or public lashing being against both men and women, with women obviously being subjected to a tougher punishment.
8. Makeup
They aren't allowed to wear clothes or makeup that 'shows off their beauty'. Saudi women have a dress code governed by the Islamic law. Most women wear an abaya—a long black cloak—along with a head scarf when in public. Women who wear too much makeup are too subjected to a lot of criticism. Religious police would stop them if they expose too much flesh or wear too much makeup.
7. try on clothes
Continuing with Dowd's piece, the journalist also noted her guide's shock when asked if she could try a piece of clothing on. Describing his reaction, and that of many other men, she wrote, The mere thought of a disrobed woman behind a dressing-room door is apparently too much for men to handle.
6. Swimming
They aren't allowed to go for a swim! We really don't wanna elaborate on this one… If they aren't allowed to try on clothes, how can they even put on a swimsuit and go for a swim?! Actually, they are not allowed to use public swimming pools available to men and can only swim in private ones or female-only gyms and spas.
5. Open a bank account
Women are forbidden from traveling, conducting official business, or undergoing certain medical procedures without permission from their male guardian. While the number of women working and opening their own businesses is on the rise, they face continued small frictions, requiring the assistance of male guardians to do things as simple as opening a bank account.
4. Compete freely in sports
When Saudi women were first allowed to compete at the Olympic Games in 2012, the moral uproar it caused in their homeland led many to label the women prostitutes due to their beliefs that woman should not participate in any sport.
3. Women's Loyalty
During a cultural festival in Riyadh, 3 Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them. One of the men who were deported from Saudi Arabia for being too sexy was identified as Omar Borkan Al Gala. After the incident, the Facebook page of the Omar, who had about 800,000 followers, has disappeared for unknown reasons.
2. Marry without consent
Saudi women need their family's backing if they wish to marry someone so should they be disapproved of then a wedding simply isn't going to happen.
1. Vote
2015 was the first year that Saudi women could stand for or vote in municipal elections which gave them limited power in the council positions.

11 Prohibitions for Saudi Arabia Women That Are Hard to Believe
What It’s Like to be a Woman in Saudi Arabia. From choosing a husband to using public transit, lots of everyday things we're completely used to are prohibited for women in Saudi Arabia. According to the 2017 Gender Gap report by the World Economic Forum, Saudi Arabia ranks 138th out of 144, making it one of the harshest places for women to live as far as equal rights are concerned.
Women aren’t allowed to move around freely. 1:34
In September 2017, the King of Saudi Arabia announced a major change in the law that will allow women to drive cars starting in June 2018. A woman will still need to get her guardian's permission to drive, though. Taking a train is allowed only in Riyadh, but women still have to use a separate car at the end of the train. As for bus companies, most of them refuse female passengers. In some regions, a woman who takes a cab without her guardian is considered immoral.
They must be covered entirely. 2:38
When on out in public, women in Saudi Arabia cover their entire bodies, with the exception for their face, hands, and feet. A black abaya (a long dress with sleeves) and hijab (a head covering) are the only things a woman can wear. The clothes should be made from thick fabric and baggy so that they don’t highlight a woman’s curves.
They don’t have much choice when it comes to work. 4:06
Women can choose to be doctors, nurses, and educators. Female politicians and lawyers are very rare exceptions. For women, it's much harder to build a career than for men since they’re paid less and don't get benefits like medical insurance.
Women will never answer the door 5:55
Most houses in Saudi Arabia have two entrances: one for men and one for women. Women can hang out with their female friends but only in their half of the house. Male guests can only visit the other half of the house where women aren’t allowed. If a woman needs to tell her husband something, she can call him over the phone.
There is no gender equality. 7:23
A Saudi woman’s word is two times less valuable than a man’s. Just to file a lawsuit, she needs 6 male witnesses. A child can never become a citizen of Saudi Arabia if his father is a foreigner. A man gets two times more when it comes to inheritance, and women in rural areas are usually excluded entirely from the lists of heirs.
