Rosslyn Chapel, Roslin, Midlothian, Scotland, United Kingdom
Rosslyn Chapel, formally known as the Collegiate Chapel of St Matthew, is a 15th-century chapel located in the village of Roslin, Midlothian, Scotland. Rosslyn Chapel was founded on a small hill above Roslin Glen as a Catholic collegiate church in the mid-15th century. The chapel was founded by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness of the Scoto-Norman Sinclair family. Rosslyn Chapel is the third Sinclair place of worship at Roslin, the first being in Roslin Castle and the second in what is now Roslin Cemetery. Sinclair founded the college to celebrate the Divine Office throughout the day and night, and also to celebrate Masses for all the faithful departed, including the deceased members of the Sinclair family. During this period, the rich heritage of plainsong (a single melodic line) or polyphony (vocal harmony) were used to enrich the singing of the liturgy. Sinclair provided an endowment to pay for the support of the priests and choristers in perpetuity. The priests also had parochial responsibilities. After the Scottish Reformation (1560), Roman Catholic worship in the chapel was brought to an end. The Sinclair family continued to be Roman Catholics until the early 18th century. From that time, the chapel was closed to public worship until 1861. It was re-opened as a place of worship according to the rites of the Scottish Episcopal Church, a member church of the Anglican Communion. It was reported in The Argus of Melbourne, Australia that Rosslyn Chapel was the site of an alleged bombing attempt by a suffragette. Since the late 1980s, the chapel has been the subject of speculative theories concerning a connection with the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail, and Freemasonry. It was prominently featured in this role in Dan Brown's bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code (2003) and its 2006 film adaptation. Medieval historians say these accounts have no basis in fact. Rosslyn Chapel remains privately owned. The current owner is Peter St Clair-Erskine, 7th Earl of Rosslyn.

Rosslyn Chapel and Rosslyn Castle in the town of Roslin, Scotland
Rosslyn Chapel in the town of Roslin, Scotland, this is a very pretty chapel and photos do not do it justice so put this place on your list to visit.
I walked around the outside walls of the Chapel taking photos and dowsing the energies before venturing in to the Chapel courtyard where I took more photos and some more dowsing before entering the Chapel. I found in the crypt which is rarely opened that there were power markings or markings designed to energise certain spells.
I then visited the Rosslyn Castle which is just as pretty in its rose sandstone, you can visit the bridge seen at the end of the film ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Again I walked around the outside of the Castle taking photos, the Castle is for hire and you can even rent a room in a bed and breakfast, check out the Rosslyn Castle website.
As a dowser this is a great set of photos to dowse, as you will be able to dowse the magical symbols from the crypt and there is a Tree in this montage which I have put in, once it was growing on a female Dragon line, now that the Dragon energy line has moved away and as a dowser you should be able to dowse the following questions:
1. Is there a dragon line where this tree is growing now?
2. Was there once upon a time a Dragon line flowing underneath this tree?
This will allow you to practise dowsing photos of faraway places (remote dowsing) as well as practise dowsing in time!
There are many more things you can dowse on these photos, if you see that there were several photos taken of the same place, with slight different angles, that means there is something for you to discover with your dowsing. (ask questions in the comments)
There is a fantastic story behind this set of photos, but to know that you will need to purchase it here:

Rosslyn Chapel: A Treasure In Stone Documentary
Rosslyn Chapel: A Treasure In Stone.
The exquisite Rosslyn Chapel is a masterpiece in stone. It used to be one of Scotland's best-kept secrets, but it became world-famous when it was featured in Dan Brown's the Da Vinci Code.
Art historian Helen Rosslyn, whose husband's ancestor built the chapel over 500 years ago, is the guide on a journey of discovery around this perfect gem of a building. Extraordinary carvings of green men, inverted angels and mysterious masonic marks beg the questions of where these images come from and who were the stonemasons that created them? Helen's search leads her across Scotland and to Normandy in search of the creators of this medieval masterpiece.

Clan Sinclair (Scottish Gaelic: Clann na Ceàrda [ˈkʰl̪ˠãũn̪ˠ nə ˈkʲaːrˠt̪ə]) is a Highland Scottish clan who held lands in Caithness, the Orkney Islands, and the Lothians. The chiefs of the clan were the Barons of Roslin and later the Earls of Orkney and Earls of Caithness. The Sinclairs are believed to have come from Normandy to England during the Norman conquest of England, before arriving in Scotland in the 11th century. The Sinclairs supported the Scottish Crown during the Scottish–Norwegian War and the Wars of Scottish Independence. The chiefs were originally Barons of Roslin, Midlothian and William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness and Baron of Roslin founded the famous Rosslyn Chapel in the 15th century. He split the family lands, disinheriting his eldest son from his first marriage, William (the Waster), who later became the second Lord Sinclair, instead giving the lands of Caithness to the second son from his second marriage, William Sinclair, 2nd Earl of Caithness, in 1476, and the lands at Roslin to his eldest son from his second marriage, Sir Oliver Sinclair. In the 16th century the Sinclairs fought against England during the Anglo-Scottish Wars and also feuded with their neighbors the Clan Sutherland. During the Jacobite rising of 1715 the Sinclairs supported the Jacobite cause, but during the Jacobite rising of 1745, while the clan largely had Jacobite sympathies, their chief, the Earl of Caithness, supported the British-Hanoverian Government. The current chief is Malcolm Sinclair, 20th Earl of Caithness.
No certain record exists but it is likely that the Sinclairs came from Saint-Clair in Normandy. Tradition gives that they were descendants of the Viking Chieftain Rollo (Norse: Gange-Rolv), an outlawed son of the Norse Ragnvald, Earl of Møre. Gange-Rolv became duke of Normandy in 911. Gange-Rolv was christened in the Saint-Clair Cathedral, according to Norse tradition.
The Saint-Clairs first went to England (before they came to Scotland) with William the Conqueror during his invasion of England. By the Rev. A Maclean Sinclair. The Examiner Publishing Company. 1901. The name was originally Saint-Clair which was a place name. Richard of Saint-Clair and Brittel of Saint-Clair are both mentioned in the Domesday Book. William of Saint-Clair accompanied Saint Margaret of Scotland, daughter of Edward the Exile to Scotland in 1068, where she eventually married Malcolm III of Scotland. In return for his efforts, the king supposedly granted Sinclair the barony of Roslin, Scotland in free heritage.
One of the earliest recorded Sinclairs in Scotland was Henry of Saint-Clair/Sinclair, who obtained a charter for the lands of Herdmanston in Haddingtonshire in 1160.
The chiefs of Clan Sinclair, the Earls of Caithness, descend from Sir William St Clare who was sheriff of Edinburgh and who was granted the barony of Roslin (Rosslyn) in 1280.

The Knights Templar and Rosslyn Chapel - Secret Teachings
Knights Templar Documentary: The Knights Templar & Rosslyn Chapel - Secret Teachings
The Knights Templar, the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon, the Order of Solomon's Temple (French: Ordre du Temple or Templiers) or simply as Templars, were among the wealthiest and most powerful of the Western Christian military orders and were prominent actors in Christian finance. The organization existed for nearly two centuries during the Middle Ages.
This movie digs into the formation, the history, the crusade, and the supposed ultimate downfall of the Knights Templar. We also look into Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland, which has been linked to the Knights Templar, as well as the new world, with plenty of secrets and anomalies that make one question if the Templars really did simply pass away.

It has also emerged that the Hugh 7th Duke of Westminster lawyers Boodle Hatfield executed forged and falsified lease documentation of the Belgravia residence to effectively impulse the criminal seizure of the property and trigger the co-ordinated break-ins burglaries and theft of the Carroll Institute library which is regarded as one of the finest collections of Irish books and manuscripts in private ownership in the world.
10 Downing Street leaked sources have said that the FBI Scotland Yard criminal “standard of proof” prosecution files have stated that Mark Field MP for the Cities of London and Westminster attended meetings with Scotland Yard over a lengthy period of time whilst the further major offences were being “targeted” at Gerald Carroll’s residences.
