Rubens House (#Rubenshuis) in the city centre of #Antwerp, #Belgium is a #museum. It used to be the home and studio of the Flemish #Baroque artist Peter Paul #Rubens (1577–1640). Open to the public since 1946, in addition to period furniture, paintings and art pieces by Rubens and other contemporary artists are displayed in the many rooms. The house has a nice garden to visit before leaving.

Rubenshuis
Het Rubenshuis is een unieke kunstenaarswoning van één van de grootste schilders uit de Barok. Het is de plaats waar men het dichtst bij de leefwereld van de grootste barokkunstenaar ten noorden van de Alpen komt. In dit paleisachtige decor bracht Peter Paul Rubens 25 jaar van zijn leven met zijn gezin door.

Our new track ‘Clear Vision’ is out today. Together with the release we’re sharing this daydream live session, recorded in the Rubens House in Antwerp. It was an honour to play in Peter Paul Rubens’ former palazzo, along these beautiful paintings, a.o. his iconic self-portrait. Because we felt like everyone should feel the vibe on their own, we decided to give out headphones.
Many thanks to the staff of the #Rubenshuis for making this happen. The central painting in the clip is called ‘Boeren op weg naar de markt’ by Boeckhorst and Snijders. ‘Clear Vision’ is the second release on our Curtis Alto Music imprint.
