Blethering Ben - 40 - Looking out from Skye
On a rare calm day I snatched a trip to Rubha Hunish, the northernmost point on the Isle of Skye, and paid a visit to the wonderful cliff-top bothy.

Skye Trail Day 3 Storr to Portree
Section hiked most of the Skye trail in May/June 2019. This is an unofficial route consisting of paths, road, and marked/ unmarked tracks of coastal, ridge and glen hill walking. Weather was good for only 2 of the the 6 days and rained the rest. But what an experience. Highly recommended. It is not as challenging as the guide book makes out other than the Trottenish ridge and of course the weather! This day it rained constantly and the wind was brutal!

Isle of Skye | Shulista Croft Wigwams Review
Shulista Croft
Shulista Croft Wigwams are situated at the very north of the Isle of Skye on the stunning Trotternish Peninsula. Shulista is a small, peaceful township within a traditional crofting community.
The Wigwam Cabins are situated on a 16 acre working croft. The working croft has a flock of Cheviot ewes, two rams and chickens which all roam the fields around the croft house.
There are many stunning walks from the doorstep of the Wigwams, including Rubha Hunish, one of the most famous walks on the Isle of Skye and the Totternish Ridge footpath above Connista.

A visit to new Camasunary bothy on the Isle of Skye
Just a quick visit to new Camasunary bothy with Mr Globetrotter while out walking the Skye Trail on the Isle of Skye, 2016. The bothy was intentionally built by the MBA to replace the old bothy further up the shore. The old bothy is now locked and has been taken back by the owner. Apologies for the continuous 'sniffing', I was exhausted after walking all the way from Broadford and forgot to take a break before filming.
Bothy advice: If you are visiting a bothy folks, remember and take out your rubbish when you leave, there is no cleaner on duty!
