The Super Hygge Copenhagen Christmas Markets and Tivoli Gardens
The Christmas markets in Copenhagen are so HYGGE! That's Danish for cozy. There's all sorts of food, homemade ornaments, and Gløgg (spiced hot wine). Tivoli, one of the world's oldest amusement parks gets all done up for the holidays. I took Ali on my favorite ride, Den Flyvende Kuffert (The Flying Trunk), which takes you through 32 of Hans Christian Andersen's stories.

Running tour through Copenhagen
I wanted to take you on a running tour through Copenhagen so I filmed this video - my first try of a go pro camera. The video is really authentic. The sky is grey, it's windy, you can spot lot of bicycles and I'll show you some popular tourist spots. And although is grey and windy, I love Copenhagen!

Running Copenhagen in the morning
A morning run in Copenhagen is nothing but magical. Its quiet and beautiful while our small capital is slowly waking up and prepares itself for yet another day. These morning runs are a personal treasure of mine (and probably hundreds other Copenhageners) and one we daily share with our running guests. See you on the streets of CPH!
Thanks to Tina Dickow for letting us use her amazing song Copenhagen.
Also a huge thanks to our multimedia intern Anna Josefine Jakobsen who has made this video.
Denmark Trip Part One: One Day in Copenhagen
During my last trip I got to go to Denmark for two days. I had one day to spend in Copenhagen and one day to spend in Esbjerg. Copenhagen is an awesome city, I had a really good time there running around the city. Definitely a place I would like to return to some day.

TOP 7 Things To Do in Copenhagen | Denmark
If your question is what to do in Copenhagen? Here are the TOP 7 things to do in Copenhagen.
The first stop is the Little mermaid, and for a lot of people when they come to Copenhagen, Denmark, this is always their first stop. But for some people including me this little mermaid leaves some room for disappointment because when you see a picture of it you expect to see a big mermaid but when you actually get there it is quite small.
We went also to a place that is good for a walk or running in Copenhagen that is called Kastellet, very green and it is in a form of a star.
After that we got to Nyhavn which is the famous part of the city with the coloured houses, lots of restaurants and bars and guess what, ice cream there is amazing.
The Copenhagen city centre was our fourth stop but there was nothing extraordinary there.
Fifth stop was the tivoli gardens in Copenhagen, it is a very beautiful place to spend an afternoon and if you are into amusement parks this one has some rollercoasters also.
Sixth stop was the Rosenberg Castle which at the time I was there is was closed but the Kings Garden in front of it was quite beautiful for a morning walk.
Last but not least was the botanical garden, this one was where I spent lots of time just relaxing and listening to the birds. Its really a quiet place without any city noise, only nature.
If you don't know what to do in Copenhagen and you are there for one day or two visit these places: Kastellet, Little Mermaid, Nyhavn, City Centre, Tivoli Gardens, Rosenborg Castle, Kings Garden and The Botanical Garden.
These are the top 7 best things to do in Copenhagen city, if you have your own top 7 things to do in Copenhagen city write them down in the comments.

BEST JOGGING PLACE EVER!! | Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is the capital and most populated city of Denmark, and second largest in Scandinavia, with an urban population of 1,246,611 and a metropolitan population of 1,975,361.
Originally a Viking fishing village founded in the 10th century, Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark in the early 15th century. During the 17th century, under the reign of Christian IV, it developed into an important regional centre, consolidating its position as capital of Denmark and Norway with its institutions, defences and armed forces.
Since the turn of the millennium, Copenhagen has seen strong urban and cultural development, facilitated by investment in its institutions and infrastructure. The city is the cultural, economic and governmental centre of Denmark and one of the major financial centres of Northern Europe with the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

If you are looking for a travel guide to Copenhagen this could be the right place for you, You can see the little mermaid, which in fact is quite small, or go to a interesting Brewery tour on the Carlsberg brewery.

Copenhagen by boat isn't a bad way to get around, and the beer at places like Mikkeller is well worth a visit or three. Reffen's street food was also really impressive - it will be tempting to go back to Reffen again while I'm in Copenhagen =D
The Reffen street food market, Copenhagen can be found here:
I would definitely recommend the boat tours in Copenhagen and the Reffen street food market if you come to visit.

FAQ:
How long have you lived in France? On and off for over two years.
What do you miss most about ho- NACHOS
You're always talking about living on some ship. WHAT SHIP? - I made a Draw My Life video that explains a lot here:
Where are you from originally? - Pullman, Washington - a small university/agricultural town near Idaho (and yes, the potatoes are amazing).
What do you film with? - I currently film almost exclusively with my Samsung Galaxy S8:
How do you get those shots where you're walking or running? - A Joby Gorillapod for smartphones, like this:
You drop your phone a lot, how does it survive? - THIS CASE IS AMAZING: (Galaxy S7) - (Galaxy S8) - (iPhone)
What do you edit with? - Adobe Premiere - it's pretty much all I've ever used since high school.
Aren't you ever freaked out by leaving your camera behind to film yourself? - Yep. But not too badly - I tend to be careful when I do.
Why are you living in #Paris? - Because I've always wanted to; I feel at home here:
But what are you doing there? - Living it up!
Do you speak French? Oui.
You talk a lot about the books you're working on, what are they about? - They're sci-fi (and fantasy) and I've got a decent pitch for you here:
Do you make money off YouTube? - Ha, no. I wish. It took me over 500 videos to make my first $100 off adsense. I think it will slowly change, but VERY slowly.
I really enjoy your videos, how can I support you? - The easiest and best way to support me is through Patreon, where you can pitch in as little as $1/mo to help me make better videos:
I don't trust this Patreon thing - what's your PayPal? - Here's a handy link!
I like PayPal in pink! - Here's my ko-fi if that's your thing (and coffee is your game):
But I want to send you something tangible! - I do have a wishlist on Amazon, though it's a bit complicated with the international shipping situation. This is the US one:
And here's the French one:
Can I come stay with you in Paris? - Have you seen my apartment? It's too small for me as it is!
OK, but how do I use the Metro when I'm there? - I made a handy video for you:
Copenhagen walking tour from Vesterport S-Tog Station to the Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen attractions
Walking from Vesterport Station (where our DSB S-Train / S-Tog has just arrived) to the Tivoli Gardens who are open for a short while in autumn to celebrate Halloween. Our walk starts on the DSB S-Train platform from where we proceed towards the main entrance / exit to the station where the 7-Eleven kiosk lies. 7-Eleven kiosks located at stations can sell tickets which can be used for trains and buses in the Copenhagen area.
Just outside the station we are met by a Danish Pølsevogn (sausage wagon) a must try for any tourist visiting Copenhagen. The main road outside Vesterport Station is called Ved Vesterport and one of the main buildings you notice straight away is the tall high rise hotel called Radison Blu Royal. We make our way down this road towards the bright and very colourful Palads Cinema Complex where to the right of that building you can also see the domed shaped Cirkus Bygning (Circus Building). We cross the road over to the Palads Biograf (Palads Cinema) where there is also a Danish Pølsevogn (sausage wagon). We then cross the road again and while we are crossing we can see that the IRMA store is just in front of us. We then make our way up Hammerichsgade all the way up to the Vesterbrogade Hammerichsgade intersection. While standing at the traffic lights viewers will notice the newly built glass Industri Huset with the tower to Københavns Rådhus (Copenhagen City Hall) sticking up above it. The tower visible to the left of Industri Huset is the tower belonging to the Scandic Palace Hotel which is located at Vester Voldgade right on Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square). We then make our way over Vesterbrogade. The restaurant/bar located right in front of us is the Copenhagen Hard Rock Cafe. We then turn left down Vesterbrogade (if we carried on walking down Hammerichsgade we would pass Københavns Hovedbanegård (Copenhagen Central Station). We walk down Vesterbrogade until we reach the main entrance to the Tivoli Gards. The Tivoli Gardens are always open for a short while in Autumn to celebrate Halloween.
Wiki writes about Copenhagen Denmark, Copenhagen is the capital and most populated city of Denmark, and second largest in Scandinavia, with an urban population of 1,246,611 and a metropolitan population of 1,975,361 (as of 1 April 2014). It is situated on the eastern coast of Zealand, 42 km northwest of Malmö, Sweden and 164 km northeast of Odense. The city stretches across parts of the island of Amager and also contains the enclave of Frederiksberg, a municipality in its own right.
According to a CNN International (2014) in an online article, Copenhagen is ranked as the number 1 healthiest city in the world to live, the heading being Where Happiness is the Truth.
This GoPro Hero3+ action cam footage is filmed in Copenhagen, Denmark on a walk from our DSB S-Train (S-Tog) arrival point at Vesterport Station and then our walk down the Ved Vesterport main road crossing the road at the Palads Cinema Complex and the walking up Hammerichsgade up until the main Vesterbrogade where we cross the street just in front of the Hard Rock Cafe Copenhagen and then turn left for a short walk to the main entrance of the Tivoli Gardens who are open for a short while in autumn to celebrate Halloween.
Wiki writes about GoPro Action Cameras, GoPro, Inc.(formerly Woodman Labs, Inc) is an American corporation that develops, manufactures and markets high-definition personal cameras, often used in extreme action video photography. They are known for being compact, lightweight, rugged, wearable or mountable in unusual places such as outside a quadcopter, planes, cars, boats, bicycle and motorcycle helmets or army tanks. The cameras capture still photos and/or video in HD through a wide-angle lens and can be configured to work automatically with minimum intervention and/or remotely...

In 2020 I will be attempting to complete 52 marathons in 52 weeks. One every week for an entire year! Can I do it who knows? but that’s what draws me to the challenge. I will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s society, a charity that is close to my heart, having people close to me that suffer from the disease. The condition effects 1/14 over the age of 65 and is extremely distressing to sufferers and carers alike.
I plan to vlog the whole process, including training tips, injury prevention and my journey to becoming a plant based athlete, along the way. I hope you will follow my journey and help support me for this great cause!

Explore Europe Copenhagen in Denmark Podcast Episode Show Notes
Home to the children’s story teller, Hans Christian Andersson, the city of Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and very much the beating heart of the country. It’s a very advanced city in terms of infrastructure, architecture, sustainability, tourism and culture. Which makes it such a joy to visit and get around.
Copenhagen is one of my favourite cities in Europe and as I grew up reading Hans Christian Andersen Fairytales when I went there I had to make a pilgrimage to the little mermaid of course!
