Ryukyu Kaiensai Festival 2013 #10
Yes, I'm still alive and well. I haven't been posting because the time in the days have just gotten away from me. But recently my husband and I went to the Ryukyu Kaiensai Fireworks Festival which was held in Ginowan at Tropical Beach. This was the 10th year of the Kaiensai fireworks show (Kaiensai means ocean-fire) and the main reason why they have this show is for Tropical Beach's umi biraki. Umi Biraki means sea opening, so this marks the official opening of beach season for this particular beach. If you watch some of he fireworks carefully, you can see Hello Kitty, Mushrooms, Princess Peach and Mario. :) Thumbs Up if you found them!
We had the funniest time trying to get into the beach. You were able to purchase tickets at any local Family Mart, which we did. But you had to pay extra for parking on the beach property itself. So we ended up parking about 2 blocks away in the Round One structure. We ate a lot of local foods and desserts and sat on the beach as the sunset. This was the first time the hubs and I have set foot on the beach this year and the first time EVER that we've watched fireworks together. This was a great experience and I'm glad that we are fortunate enough to experience it. Until next time!

It was my first time seeing the fireworks festival and it was amazing. Okinawa did a very great job.
If you have a chance, you should try!!

ただ、システムトラブル（昼間の落雷のせい？）で中断あり、プログラムの入れ替えありと・・・でしたが
