Traveling Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu Province, Japan.
Aira is the city between Kagoshima and Kirishima. Over 60% of the entire area consists of mountains and forests.
As a tourist's city, it is less popular that other two. However, visitors are growing over famous venues such as the largest camphor tree in Japan 'Kamo no Kusu' or the location of TV drama Segodon 'Tatsumonjizaka'.

일본 규슈(큐슈)지방 가고시마현 아이라시(市) 여행.
아이라는 가고시마와 기리시마 사이에 위치한 도시이다. 60% 이상이 산림지역인 이곳은 관광지로서의 인지도는 인접한 도시들에 비해 떨어지지만 일본에서 가장 큰 나무인 '가모의 녹나무', 가고시마현의 유명인사인 사이고 다카모리를 주인공으로 하는 대하드라마 세고동의 촬영지로 사용된 '다쓰몬지자카' 등의 장소가 점점 알려지면서 관광객들이 늘고 있다.
- 세부 행정구역은 아이라초, 가모초, 가지키초로 나뉜다.
- 긴코만을 접하고 있으며 맑은 날씨에는 사쿠라지마가 보인다.

Japan Travel: Awesome Kagoshima - 鹿児島
Kagoshima is the capital city of Kagoshima Prefecture, located at the southwest end of the island of Kyushu in Japan. Kagoshima is sometimes called Japanese Napolinya because it is located in the bay (Aira Caldera), hot weather and the Sakurajima volcano.
As of January 1, 2005, the city is estimated to have a population of 605,650 people and a density of 1,107.81 people per km². The area is 546.71 km². Kagoshima has an international airport called Kagoshima Airport.
Kagoshima is the birthplace of Saigo Takamori, an important figure in the Meiji period, and also Togo Heihachiro, Japan's biggest naval hero. Heihachiro led the Japanese Navy fleet twice defeating Russia in 1904 and 1905, destroying Russia's reputation as a sea power in the East.
In addition, the city was also the place where the Japanese met Christian adherents for the first time, during the Spanish missionary, Francis Xavier arrived here in 1549 and was greeted warmly.

鹿児島県の姶良市にある龍門の滝です。
鹿児島県でも、有数の滝で、某テレビ局のとぶがごどくのロケ現場でも
あるのに、あんまり知られていない滝です。
私が思うに、滝の近くに橋を架ければ、
絶景が見やすいのにと思います。
この日は、川に入っ撮影しました。
姶良市役所のみなさんお願いします。
非常に、もったいない観光資源です。
