Nguuni Nature Sanctuary Mombasa
Come to Nguuni Nature Sanctuary in Mombasa, Kenya! It´s a secret tip for all those who love natural silence, peaceful environment and animals that are completely stressless. On a guided tour, you can see birds, if you´re lucky. There´s also a beautiful place where you can have your own barbecue in the evening if you like to. It´s absolutely worth it coming there, I highly recommend this.

Thank you for watching this ultimate Kenyan street food tour in Nairobi! I met up with my friend James who took me around to a few of his favorite spots to eat.
Kawangware, Nairobi, Kenya
Here's most of the food we tried on this amazing tour of Nairobi:
Ann Restaurant - Dagoretti Corner - This small street food stall on Dagoretti Corner in Nairobi serves all sorts of Kenyan / East African foods. Their chapatis are especially good, and their Lake Victoria sardines fried with tomatoes.
Chapati
Dagaa - Lake Victoria sardine
Matumbo - stomach stew
Githeri - beans and maize
The guy sitting across the table - “you should not eat beans and sardines together, or you’ll have gas.”
Total bill - 1,050 KES ($10.39) - we paid for 4 or 5 guys eating there
Stomach Clinix - This was the best food stop of the day, a neighborhood meat shop that James took me to that specializes in cow head soup. The grilled tongue was also spectacular, but the soup was the best.
Total price - 200 KES ($1.98)
Dagoretti Market - After the meat, we took a walk over to Dagoretti Market. After browsing around for a while, we stopped for another plate of mixed Kenyan food, mostly dengu, which are mung beans. It was simple, but quite good.
Dengu - mung beans
Total price - 300 KES ($2.97)
Unity Cafe Hotel - We met up with some of James' friend in Kawangware, and went to eat across the street from their shoe shop. The mandazi mix was the highlight of this Kenyan meal.
Total price - 600 KES ($5.94) for all
Cow foot fry - Next we headed over to Oscar who makes cow food soup, fry and boil. He was a very friendly man, and showed me his entire process of making cow foot soup. It was delicious!
Total price - 450 KES ($4.45)
Kenyan street food - To end this Kenyan street food tour of Nairobi we had to eat one of the ultimate Kenyan fast food meat treats. You'll see these types of grills all over the streets in the late afternoon throughout Nairobi. You just choose what you want, it's cut on the chopping board, and you stand and eat.
Esophagus
Intestines
Mutura - minced meat sausage
Mutura - blood sausage
Udder
Total price - 200 KES ($1.97)
Thank you for watching this ultimate Nairobi street food tour!

Travel: Diani Beach, Mombasa Kenya
Just a quick little video of my recent trip to Diani Beach Kenya. The trip was literally short and sweet because of work and I spent most of my time by the pool and at the beach. Hoping I can go back soon and get to do more and see more.

One half of The Lived Experience went on a 10-day trip to Kenya with three guys! There were so many interesting and fun parts to this adventure but I was mostly living in the moment. I have managed to capture and piece together a few of my highlights! I also got a chance to meet Brian Kimani (check him out on Youtube) who showed us around Mombasa old town and took us to some really good eating places. Our time in Mombasa wouldn't have been complete.

▼ ▽ ABOUT KENYA AIRWAYS
Kenya Airways, is the flag carrier airline of Kenya. The company was founded in 1977, after the dissolution of East African Airways. Their head office is located in Embakasi, Nairobi, with its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The airline was wholly owned by the Government of Kenya until April 1995, and it was privatised in 1996, becoming the first African flag carrier to successfully do so. Kenya Airways is currently a public-private partnership. The largest shareholder is the Government of Kenya (48.9%), 38.1% is owned by KQ Lenders Company 2017 Ltd. (in turn owned by a consortium of banks), followed by KLM, which has a 7.8% stake in the company. The rest of the shares are held by private owners; shares are traded on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, and the Uganda Securities Exchange.
At January 2013 Kenya Airways was considered one of the leading Sub-Saharan operators. It was ranked fourth among the top ten African airlines by seat capacity, behind South African Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and EgyptAir. The airline became a full member of SkyTeam in June 2010, and is also a member of the African Airlines Association since 1977.

Since flights are hell expensive in Africa, so I had to take the bus from Mombasa to Dar es Salaam (Kenya to Tanzania) and it turned out to be a very good journey and adventure. I got Tanzania visa on Arrival at the border on Pakistani passport. The bus company name is Tahmeed which has three buses every day departing from Mombasa to Dar es Salaam. the ticket cost $15 USD.

Thanks to Hippo Dhow and for arranging this for me.
Lamu Island, Kenya - Ever since I was a child growing up in Kenya, I had wanted to visit Lamu Island. It’s one of the best places in the world to experience authentic Swahili culture and food - and so in this video we’re going on an ultimate Kenyan food tour of Lamu, plus in the evening, we were able to take a ride of a dhow with an amazing bbq!
Shela Village, Lamu - During our visit to Lamu we stayed in Shela Village, a little down the coast from Lamu Old Town. Shela is a beautiful place though, quiet and serene. In the morning we set out by boat to Lamu Old town to get the street food and sightseeing tour started.
Lamu Old Town - Lamu Old Town is one of those ancient cities where everywhere you look there’s something fascinating. The old narrow lanes are a joy to explore, and you also have to dodge donkeys everywhere. We enjoyed a mix of small snacks including fried cassava, coffee, sweet sesame brittle, and coconuts. The central market in Lamu Town is also a great colorful place to walk around and explore, and to see what types of ingredients are most common in Swahili food. The highlight of the street food in Lamu for me though, were the mishakiki, grilled skewers of beef meat served with pilipili.
Coffee - 20 KES ($0.20)
Casava - 20 KES ($0.20)
Coconut - 30 KES ($0.30)
Mishakiki - 25 KES ($0.24) per stick
Hippo Dhow - A dhow is a traditional sailboat on the Indian Ocean, and the crew at Hippo Dhow are awesome. Through they were able to connect me, and we set off in the afternoon to sail. The peace of sailing is one of the greatest things ever. After sailing for a while, we anchored off a small sandbar and grill up some delicious fish. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Lamu!
Lamu Island is one of the most fascinating places to visit in Kenya!
