Last Minute Shopping in Okinawa! | Makeup, Skincare, & Food!
Come last minute shopping with us as we stock up on our favorite Japanese goodies before we head back to America! We go to Don Quixote, which is a variety store which sells anything from cosmetics to international foods. Then we head over to San A shopping mall to do grocery shopping to stock up on essentials.

Don Quixote (Ginowan store)
This store has literally everything! I stocked up on mainly makeup and skincare but they had a whole array of home decor, furniture, toys, souvenirs, and groceries to choose from.
Convention City San A (Ginowan store)
Supermarket chain based only in Okinawa. We do our grocery shopping here as well as buy all the foods and sweets we want to take back to America. I love grocery shopping in Japan especially because of the fresh fish and pre-made meals. I am seriously going to miss this!

Japan's Most Beautiful Beaches | Tropical Beach in Okinawa!
Summer in Okinawa is definitely best spent at the beach! Enjoy one of the best of what Okinawa offers with us at the beautiful Tropical Beach. One of our personal favorites, this beach has great views and amenities that make it fun for people of all ages. I hope you find this vlog captures the beauty and carefree vibe of Tropical Beach!

Tropical Beach is located in Ginowan City near the Convention Center.

Parking is free and even on weekends, we were able to find a spot!
The beach itself is enclosed by a net to prevent jellyfish from entering. Lifeguard is usually on duty, especially during peak hours/days. Beach is not entirely crowded during weekends so you are still able to have a good time. Showers cost 100 yen but they do have a faucet to rinse off feet and hands for free. There are many tables to reserve for any gatherings for barbeques, picnics, etc. Many vending machines with refreshing drinks are also available.
The Convention Center area is also a great place to visit before/after your beach day! There is Convention City San A shopping mall, Don Quixote variety store, and many restaurants and cafes. The area is also a short drive to the Mihama/Chatan area for more opportunities for shopping and eating.
