The train was hauled by steam locomotive 58654
0950 hrs: DE10 1753 is released after the SL Hitoyoshi departs.
0953 hrs: EMU 815-14 departs for Tosu with an all stops Kagoshima Line service
0955 hrs: KiHa 200-1102/102 with empty cars for the 1002 hrs service to Misumi
1036 hrs: A-Train #1 departs for Misumi with cars KiHa 184-4 & 185-1012

Japanese steam train accelerating (SL Hitoyoshi)
SL Hitoyoshi is the name of JR Kyushu's sightseeing train from Kumamoto to Hitoyoshi consisting of a steam locomotive and three immaculately restored cars. The cars have been reimagined by designer Mitooka Eiji with a great nostalgic yet family-friendly design theme. As you can see, the train crew is very nice and cheerful as well!
