Moscow 4k, Russia - Walking tour - Red Square
Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. Red Square is often considered to be the central square of Moscow since the city's major streets, which connect to Russia's major highways, originate in the square.
The rich history of Red Square is reflected in paintings by Vasily Surikov, Konstantin Yuon and others. The square was meant to serve as Moscow's main marketplace. It was also the site of various public ceremonies and proclamations, and occasionally a coronation for Russia's Tsars would take place. The square has been gradually built up since that point and has been used for official ceremonies by all Russian governments since it was established.

Moscow Celebrates Day of Its Founding With Flair! City Has Become Crown Jewel of Russia
Subscribe to Vesti News
This weekend, Moscow is celebrating City Day — 872 years since its foundation. VDNKh has become one of the centers of the festival. The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy celebrated its 80th anniversary. Dozens of bright and fun events were prepared for residents and visitors of the capital over all the city districts. There were concerts, exhibitions, masterclasses, various fairs, folk festivals, and sports events. The holiday culminated in a magnificent, festive fireworks display, which illuminated the Moscow sky yesterday with a thousand colorful volleys.
Moscow tour. Apothecary garden. [Moscow Travel Guide]
Apothecary garden
Hello, again! This is me, Vera. The 8th of March is coming! Its a big holiday in Russia - women's day. This day is also a symbol of spring. And spring always comes with flowers!
Today our Moscow travel guide goes to the rehearsal of spring. Are you coming with us?
What is the oldest garden in Moscow?
Where can you see palms and pineapple trees in winter?
Where can you find the oldest tree in Moscow?
Why Peter the 1st planted spruce, fir and larch?
Where can you try the best pies in town?
The answer is simple: we are going to the apothecary garden - the botanical garden of the Moscow University.
If you want to visit this unusual place, you need to go to the metro station Prospect Mira. By the way, before the station was called Botanical garden. Then you walk 5 minutes towards the Sadovoe ring.
On the other side of the prospect you can see the house where the famous merchant, Nikolai Polevoi lived. He was the editor of the Moscow telegraph .
Then we pass the house where we can see the word peace in different languages. Prospect mira means Prospect of peace. In this part of the prospect there are many restaurants with nice kitchen.
Prospect mira, 30 is the mansion of the famous poet Brusov. He lived here in 1920s. Today the museum of the Silver century is located here.
Look, and here is the apothecary garden.
The history of the garden starts from 1706. Peter the 1st ordered to make here, behind the Suharev tower, a kitchen garden for medical plants.
Today the garden is hidden from eyes by the buildings. You can get here from the glass lobby on prospect Mira, either through the easten entrance on Botanic street.
Lets get inside.
After the snowy street the diversity of flowers and smells make you feel dizzy.
Lets see who is who. Here is the oldest variety of tulips shrenka. The wild flower looks just like an ordinary one, but smaller.
And here is its relative, but looks totally different, more like a poppy. And this one is named the fire tulip, because it resembles flame.
But not only tulips bloom 2 months earlier here in this greenhouse. The snowdrop the symbol of spring started to bloom in the garden on the 13 of February. With the help of the special method, cherry, plum and lilac bloom here right now!
The history of the apothecary garden is full of hard and dramatic days. Most of the garden, including library and herbarium burnt out during the napoleon fire of 1812.
During the Civil war in 1910s only the palm greengarden was saved, and it happened only because the fence was used as a firewood.
In 1930s according to the general plan of Stalin, the garden was planned to become the main Botanic garden of Moscow with huge entrance in empire style. But it did not happen.
The reason was the Second World War. The garden survived, but everything around, except the house of Brusov, was destroyed.
Its better to smell flowers together with the classical music - so you can listen to Chaikovsky on this exhibition. And now, lets go further and we ll see something more interesting.
We can see not only plants, but some animals here as well. The flower cat is the descendant of the court cat of Peter the 1st. His flower majesty has a right to visit all exhibitions and restaurants of the garden.
By the way, if you are hungry, here you can have a good snack in several cafes and restaurants. For example in Paradise pie you can try the most delicious pies in Moscow!
The ledend sais, that Peter the1st planted 3 trees here by himself: spruce, fir and larch in order to teach people to make difference between them.
Larch is still alive. Many of the trees here including tropical are very old. The cycad of count Razumovsky is more than 200 years old.
And here is the oldest tree in Moscow - the 300 year old white willow.
In 1805 the apothecary garden was bought by Moscow University. But the napoleon fire destroyed most of it, including the greenhouse and herbarium.
From the middle of the 19th century the garden becomes one of the most popular places for recreation in Moscow. In the different sides of the garden there are some cozy banches. One of it was the favorite of Ilia Repin.
This year the apothecary garden celebrates the anniversary- 310 years. Come here and enjoy the beauties of this unforgettable place. Moscow travel guide says bye bye to you now. Subscribe, watch our videos, enjoy spring and have a nice holiday!

Vlog 3. Tours to Moscow. Real Russia
In the beginning of 2016, I announced an intention to do my best to visit more places of Russia. The first point in the list was Moscow, Russia. It’s done. It was a short visit to Moscow and filmed only six episodes, but it’s done. Getting ready for a next city and raising a new funds to make it happen.
For the reason I never show an alcoholics, krokodile addicts and prostitutes, some people are thinking I am a Putin’s bot, funded by Kremlin. But it isn’t. Same as three years ago, when the channel started, “Real Russia” is still an independent English-language channel about Russia.
In fact, my channel have only two sources of revenue – standard YouTube Ads (pre-rolls you can see before and after my videos and in-video overlays) and Crowdfunding Campaigns.
Crowdfunding… it’s when your “crowd” is “funding” your channel. But, important to notice, it’s far not all crowd, but only a little part of the most loyal crowd. The most loyal fans who loves the videos as much as ready to contribute it financially.
Next fact, most people loves to finance a physical stuff, something tangible they can touch and delivered personally for them. But my crowdfunding campaign is actually offer to invest in something more spiritual. This is no more no less but investment in an esthetic enjoyment you’ll receive from a future videos.
And final thing is that most people consider their participation in a crowdfunding campaign as a one-time action. It did once, and it’s done. And it’s fair enough for all crowdfunds. I talked with a lot of other people who were making fundraising campaigns and all of them said that their next campaigns are always brings less funds than previous once.
This works for me too. Even though my audience is growing every new day but not all of them become so loyal fans. It happens in the moment when all “older” most loyal fans already did their contribution before.
Nowdays, I have found that my recent crowdfunding campaign is the last one. It used to be a good source of support to the channel but now it’s getting exhausted. So, instead of waiting for when it will keep getting lower and lower, it’s better switch it to something else.
Soon, I re-launch my store I used to have in 2013. Those days I was selling t-shirts only, but now it’s going to be many other quality items made in Russia.
But right now, I also give it a try to launch a “Tours to Moscow” provided by me.
More about it at
All revenues from the store and tours will go to keep “Real Russia” growing.
However, current crowdfunding campaign is also still available. You can support my channel and receive an original postcard from Russia at
realrussiablog@gmail.com

4K Russia | Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) walking tour
The Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) (Russian: Московский международный деловой центр, tr. Moskovskiy mezhdunarodniy delovoy tsentr), also known as Moskva-City, (Russian: Москва-Сити, tr. Moskva-Siti),[1][2] is a commercial development at the western edge of the central district of the city of Moscow, Russia. Located just east of the Third Ring Road near the western edge of the Presnensky District of the Central Administrative Okrug, the MIBC is still, as of 2019, under development. Construction of the MIBC takes place on the Presnenskaya Embankment of the Moskva River, approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) west of Red Square, overlooked by the Third Ring Road. The project occupies an area of 60 hectares.[3]
The Moscow government first conceived the project in 1992, as a mixed development of office, residential, retail and entertainment facilities.[4]An estimated 250,000 – 300,000 people will be working in, living in, or visiting the complex at any given time.[3] MIBC includes 6 skyscrapers with maximum height of 300 meters or more (Shanghai has 5, Hong Kong has 6, Chicago has 6, New York has 8). Europe's second tallest building, the Federation Tower, is in the MIBC. The complex also includes the third-tallest, fourth-tallest, sixth-tallest, seventh-tallest, and eighth-tallest buildings in Europe. By 2016 twelve of twenty-three planned facilities of MIBC were already built, seven buildings are in construction and four are in the design stage.[5]

Most Beautiful Place in Moscow - Russian in 4K - VDN-HA - ВДНХ
Take a look at one of the most beautiful places in Moscow, Russia. It is difficult to describe the feelings you experience while being there. Anyone visiting Moscow, must go to the VDN-Ha. Period
Moscow, Russia
Moscow is the capital and most populous city of Russia, with 12.2 million residents within the city limits and 16.8 million within the urban area. Moscow has the status of a Russian federal city.
Moscow is a major political, economic, cultural, and scientific center of Russia and Eastern Europe, as well as the largest city entirely on the European continent. By broader definitions Moscow is among the world's largest cities, being the 14th largest metro area, the 18th largest agglomeration, the 15th largest urban area, and the 11th largest by population within city limits worldwide. According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has been ranked as the ninth most expensive city in the world by Mercer and has one of the world's largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network, and is also one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world according to the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index. Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth. It is home to the Ostankino Tower, the tallest free standing structure in Europe; the Federation Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Europe; and the Moscow International Business Center. By its territorial expansion on July 1, 2012 southwest into the Moscow Oblast, the area of the capital more than doubled, going from 1,091 to 2,511 square kilometers (421 to 970 sq mi), and it gained an additional population of 233,000 people.
Moscow is situated on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia, making it the world's most populated inland city. The city is well known for its architecture, particularly its historic buildings such as Saint Basil's Cathedral with its brightly colored domes. With over 40 percent of its territory covered by greenery, it is one of the greenest capitals and major cities in Europe and the world, having the largest forest in an urban area within its borders—more than any other major city—even before its expansion in 2012.
The city has served as the capital of a progression of states, from the medieval Grand Duchy of Moscow and the subsequent Tsardom of Russia to the Russian Empire to the Soviet Union and the contemporary Russian Federation. Moscow is considered the center of Russian culture, having served as the home of Russian artists, scientists and sports figures and because of the presence of museums, academic and political institutions and theaters.
Moscow is the seat of power of the Government of Russia, being the site of the Moscow Kremlin, a medieval city-fortress that is today the residence for work of the President of Russia. The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square are also one of several World Heritage Sites in the city. Both chambers of the Russian parliament (the State Duma and the Federation Council) also sit in the city.
The city is served by a transit network, which includes four international airports, nine railway terminals, numerous trams, a monorail system and one of the deepest underground rapid transit systems in the world, the Moscow Metro, the fourth-largest in the world and largest outside of Asia in terms of passenger numbers, and the busiest in Europe. It is recognized as one of the city's landmarks due to the rich architecture of its 200 stations.
