Bridgton & Saco River #7 (Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum)
Operated out of Portland, Maine is the Naime Narrow Gauge Railroad Company & Museum. This operation uses original two-foot gauge equipment from various railroads of Maine's history.
Recently restored to service is Bridgton & Saco River 2-4-4T #7. This Forney type engine was used for the B&SR (later Bridgton & Harrison) from 1913 to 1933. It was used extensively at the Edaville Railroad in South Carver, MA from 1941 to the late 90s. It was brought back to Maine in the 2000s and went through a long restoration project. Number 7 finally returned to service in 2018.

Chasing Central Maine & Quebec Job 2 in Jackman, Maine!
The Central Maine & Quebec is a regional Class II Railroad with operations both in the United States and Canada, covering mainly Quebec and Maine. Recently, Canadian Pacific has initiated a deal to acquire the CM&Q for their own usage, with this imminent acquisition upon the railroad, myself and a few friends pulled together all of our resources to do a trip up to the railroad. Mainly to capture their unique SD40-2F “Barn” locomotives, with the CM&Q being the only railroad in the world to operate these locomotives. Seen in the video is 2 locations in Jackman, ME. Just before Job 2 enters border security, and then right after the Canadian crew takes the train into the yard to tie it down. This chase was definitely one of my most memorable moments of 2019, and it felt fitting to make this my final upload before the end of the decade.

I made this video with my GoPro as we were exploring the Saco River in New Hampshire and Maine.We decided to go for my wife's birthday weekend and her parents came along too. We had a lot of fun.
We rented canoes to use on the river and they also offered a pick up service.

5 below snow plowing has its own issues. The enemy is warmth. The snow plow wheels warmed the snow then it froze on the treads. This caused derailments. Next time I will let the plow sit outside. Also we clearly need a spreader because ultimately the cold stole the energy from the cylinders as snow packed around them. Lots of fun anyway.

Cascade Falls - Saco, Maine
Quick edit of our trip to Cascade Falls last week. First test run with the Sony A7s ii and I am super excited to get more into this camera. Most shots were shot at 120fps or 60fps, 1/250th shutter speed and ISO was adjusted accordingly. These shots were filmed in SLOG-2 and I used a few different luts with adjustments to get the color I liked.
