Guangzhou Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral is located on Yidu Road in Guangzhou,beside the Pearl River.It was built in 1863 and completed in 1888,so far the Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral is of more than 100 years.Because of all the church walls and pillars are made of granite stone,it is also known as the Sarcophagus Sacred Heart of Jesus Church,Sarcophagus Catholic Church.With its magnificent arches,tall towers,window lattices with floral designs,the cathedral is the most distinctive in Guangzhou,and it attracts many people all over the world.

Upon returning to Kaiping (Hoiping in Cantonese), we explore the history of my family and I learned for the first time that my Grandmother was raised in a Diaolou Watchtower. It was cool to see. Saw a shrine that belonged to my Great Grandparents.
We also got to hang out with my other Aunt & Uncle and Cousins and Little Cousin was very excited to see us. I was amazed at how large the schools in China were and also the children there spend long days.
We take a bus ride to Guangzhou where we check out the Sacred Heart Cathedral. You don't see many gothic style churches in China at all! It was very neat!
