The artistic riches of Kathmandu valley is reflects in the six UNESCO World Heritage sites Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple; Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur which is well-off in art and architecture. Secrets of Manaslu trekking in Nepal
Trekking in Nepal, I would say, is a kind of addiction in a good way. Once you do trekking in Nepal, you will definitely be trekking again and Manaslu is the best option for those who wants to see the real Nepal. Or lets say primitive life style in modern world with amazing mountain scenery. Manaslu trekking area is highly influenced by Tibetan cultural heritage which makes Manaslu trek unique.
I took public bus to Arughat from Kathmandu in the morning at 6 o'clock and reached Arughat afternoon then i found a truck so i was able to get to Sotikhola. Here my trekking started and trekked up to the Samagaun. I was hoping to go through the larke pass but it was too much snowing so i had to stop. I went to Kathmandu the same way back. Thus, this video is the first part of my Manaslu trekking adventure. Please check this link for my second part of my Manaslu trekking adventure -
The areas to the east of the Annapurna are the peaks of Manaslu group. Few visitors trek to this area, which makes a visit here all the more unique and unspoiled. The area is bordered by River Budhi Gandaki and to the west River Marshyangdi. This area is marked by two cultural highlights: Gorkha, which is the ancestral seat of the reigning Shah dynasty and the temple of Manakamana. Since the treks in the Manaslu region originate at around 1000 meters and reach as high as 5200 meters, the trekker will see a wide range of flora typical of the middle hills and alpine regions of Nepal. Plants to be seen around here are pine, rhododendron, wildlife include barking deer, pika and Himalayan marmots. Birds to be sighted in the region are pheasant, raven and chough. People of Tibetan origin inhabit several villages. Other groups found here are Gurung and Tamangs. The best time to trek here is between September and May. A few teahouses are seen in the Manaslu Conservation Area; however, teahouse trekking is not a suggested option. Government regulations require all the group trekking to the Manaslu Circuit to be fully sufficient.

Golden Kingdom In The Himalayas (Nepal) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Documentary about the Golden Kingdom in the Himalayas in Nepal.
Surrounded by the highest mountains in the world is the fascinating world of Nepal, the Golden Kingdom of the Himalayas. Compared to the hubbub of the Nepal capital of Kathmandu, the lakes of the Pokhara Valley located two hundred kilometres to the west are tranquil and relaxing. The freshwater lakes, the Pokhari, also gave the region its name. The vast forest areas of Chitwan in the south of the country on the border with India provide a surprisingly diverse variety of flora and fauna and make its nickname of, The Heart of the Jungle, appropriate. Modern life is far more obvious in Kathmandu Valley than in the south of the country. But the region’s rich historical heritage with its magnificent temples and palatial buildings is still a magnificent sight. The valley is like a huge treasure trove and it is where the cultural development of Nepal first began. Despite its slow development this land has preserved much of its fascinating mediaeval atmosphere. Lalitpur was once known as a centre of Buddhism with more than a hundred and fifty monasteries including the most famous main monastery, the so-called Golden Temple, the Kwa Bahal. With a population of around seventy-five thousand, Bhaktapur, once an independent royal city, is the third largest city in Kathmandu. Apart from the Swayambhunath Stupa, Bodhnath, otherwise known as, Tiny Tibet, is the most important Buddhist sanctuary and also the largest sacred building of its kind in Kathmandu Valley. Surrounded and protected by the highest mountains in the world in a truly magical setting where the Earth seems to touch the sky, the Golden Kingdom of the Himalayas lives on in perfect timeless beauty and majestic brilliance!

Nepal Tour: Kathmandu has often been by some as a flawless jewel in a unique setting. No other place in the world has the concentration of culture, art and tradition that exists in the Kathmandu valley (1300m.). Kathmandu is the crossroads for the many ethnic groups of Nepal and for visitors from all over the world every year. Nestled in the central hills of Nepal, Kathmandu is at once medieval and modern. The Kathmandu valley sprawls at the junction of two sacred rivers, Bagmati and Bishnumati. Just cross the Bagmati River to the south is Patan, on ancient city of temples, while Bhadgoon with its thousands of homes and temples shrines lies six miles to the east. More then two hundred years ago these three cities housed the Royal places of three different kingdoms that divided the valley palaces surviving today.

A trek up the Langtang Valley
The Langtang region sits on Nepal’s border with Tibet, a short distance north of Kathmandu. It’s a narrow valley running east to west, wedged between dramatic 6,000 to 7,000m snow-capped peaks, the highest of which is 7,227m Langtang Lirung.
For much of its bottom end, it's a narrow, forested gorge. It widens out towards the top as it approaches the higher mountains and glaciers
This short film starts near the bottom end at the village of Thulo Syaphru, and follows a snowy trek through Bamboo, Lama Hotel, Langtang village and Mundu as far as Kyanjin Gompa.

Nar Phu: The Lost Valley Trek in Nepal | A Complete Trekking Details
Nar Phu Valley Trek in Nepal is a spectacular and off-the-beaten track which lies in between two massive Himalayan mountain ranges - Manaslu Himalayan range and Annapurna Himalayan range. It is one of the best locations for trekking in the wilderness which includes the enthralling and exotic valleys of Nar and Phu gaun.
The journey starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. It is then another drive to Koto, where you start trekking towards the unspoiled valley.
After only one hour, you enter the valley and you realise you have been transported away from the civilization … it feels like you are going to a lost valley. I call it “Nar Phu: The Lost Valley”.
The valley leads you to Kangla Pass (5320m) to connect the village of Ngawal, which is the main route of Annapurna Circuit Trek. Some people continue trekking forward and manage to cross Thorang la Pass (5416m); others trek down or drive down towards Besisahar to finish their journey. We drove down to Besisahar and drove back to Kathmandu, making this trek only 10 days.
The village of Phu is incredibly beautiful, untouched, unexplored and very remote giving the feel of being in the 5th century. Words cannot fully explain its exquisite beauty. You must experience it!
The village of Nar has its modern touches – an interesting blend between 5th and 21st centuries, having both historic and modern houses and some modern looking people.
Staying at Gompa (nar phedi) is an exceptionally remarkable experience. Eating with monks and sleeping at the Gompa (monastery) gives an insight to the lives of monks for a day – we see how they live, and get to experience the peaceful existence they lead.
The unforgettable day of Kangla Pass is still ahead. Six hours of hiking uphill towards Kangla is not easy at all and once we are on the pass there is still another four hours of downhill trekking. Walking on empty is definitely a big meditation day. Anyway, we successfully made it.
We started our journey on 9th July 2018 for 10 days. Please write a comment and let me know your thoughts :) Thank you for watching.

Shankhamul | Bagmati River
Nepal 360 presents Shankhamul | Bagmati River | Heritage of Nepal.
Shankhamul is one of the twelve “most-sacred” confluences in the Kathmandu valley as defined in the numerous chronicles that document the history and legends about the Kathmandu valley. At Shankhamul, the Bagmati River that flows south from the Pashupati temple complex, and all the rivers that flow from the eastern part of the valley including the Manohara River merge. The river then continues its journey west, south and then out of the Kathmandu valley at Chobhar and then on to the Terai.
The local people of Patan who belong to the various traditional trusts (guthis) have now come together to preserve, renovate the built and natural heritage at Shankhamul. The temple complex was damaged due to April 2015 Nepal earthquake.
Shot on a LG v10 camera stabilized with DJI Osmo Mobile and DJI Spark; it's aimed to deliver the most realistic experience.

The best tour in Nepal | Everest Helicopter Tour | A Complete Details
There are different Himalayan routes that you can take Helicopter tour like Everest Helicopter tour, Langtang Helicopter tour or Annapurna Helicopter tour to witness the vastness of the Himalayas of Nepal. Sights of the glistering snow peaks, beautiful green valleys, breathtaking view of barren land always stands out for the lifetime.
One of the best available options to get so close to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, almost to the touching distance, is definitely the Helicopter tour. This video is filmed over Everest Region and shows an up close look at Mount Everest.
To find out more about helicopter tours in Mt. Everest check out
Here’s the entire trip:
We took off from airport leaving Kathmandu behind the same route that Sir Edmond Hilary and Tenjin Norge took to summit Mount Everest for the first time. Passing many hills, seeing many other mountain vides, looking at Jiri (Swtizerland of Nepal). And soon we passed Lamjura (3500m) we were able to witness high Himalayas of Everest region.
Flying over the same valley of Lukla, we were (we were excited to see even bigger and higher mountains like Summit peak, Thamserkhu and more. ) making our eyes even bigger to stair high mountains like summit peak, thamserkhu and many more. And suddenly, we were looking at Namche with its beautiful surrounding. Mt. Kwange and many more were taking Namche in their lap.
We were landing at Syngbuche for fueling but the Mt. Everest was already gazing at us. After stopping few minutes, we flew over Khumde and Khumjung village towards Mt. Everest. Oh a minute later we were lucky to connect out eyesight with Mt. Choyu (8188m) with its gigantic face.
The geographical situatedness of Everest region is itself amazing. It is located in the region ranging from Kanchangungha to Langtang.
Cholaste 6440m. Look at that O MY GOODNESS ! Lobuche peak 6119m, now lobuche village 4900m along with lobuche glacier and the top.
Flying over Khumbu glacier, towards Everest Base Camp and looking at Pumori mountain range is of course unforgettable, nothing beats it.
After visiting almost to the camp two of Everest climb, we turned back towards Kalapather with the view of Khumbu Icefall. By the way, we had a choice either land at Everest Base Camp (5365m) or Kalapathar (5400m), we chose Kalapathar for better view.
Standing at Kalapathar with 51 % oxygen level was not easy so we landed at Lakapathar for only few minutes. Ok after having panoramic view of Everest and more, we turned back towards Syangbuche now.
One of the best available options to get so close to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, almost to the touching distance, is definitely the Helicopter tour. Its best for those who have limited time but its great for everyone else if you look for Luxurious and at the same time thrilling experience.
Most importantly, there are different Himalayan routes that you can take Helicopter tour like Everest Helicopter tour, Langtang Helicopter tour or Annapurna Helicopter tour to witness the vastness of the Himalayas of Nepal. Sights of the glistering snow peaks, beautiful green valleys, breathtaking view of barren land always stands out for the lifetime.
Anyways, our company Mountain Ram Adventures offers Helicopter tours to any of these areas as per the requirements of the clients. We offer individual tour, group tour, family tour etc.
Ok now we are landing at Syangbuche. We will be taking a bit of time here to enjoy our breakfast with the view of Mt. Everest along with surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Oh its time to go back, but we still have one more hour to enjoy helicopter ride. Look at the view of Dudhkoshi river and villages like Monju, Phakding and Lukla and beautiful farming tares. Green hills, villages still overwhelm you before arriving in Kathmandu.

Nepal: Top 13 Experiences according to Lonely Planet
Nepal: Top 13 Experiences according to Lonely Planet
12. Swayambhunath
A site on a hill overlooking the city with a large stupa and other Buddhist and Hindu iconography, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the country. Aside from the views over the city and the ancient carvings in every available space, it's crowded with monkeys mingling with the visitors.
11. Nepal's Fantastic Festivals
Many notable festivals are celebrated in Nepal. As a predominantly Hindu and Buddhist nation, many of the festivals in Nepal are religious ones. Nepal has so many spectacular festivals that any visit is almost certain to coincide with at least one. Celebrations range from masked dances designed to exorcise bad demons to epic bouts of tug-of-war between rival sides of a town.
10. White-Water Rafting
Nepal is one of the world's best rafting and kayaking destinations. Fuelled by water rushing down from the Himalayan peaks, day runs on the Bhote Kosi offer thrilling white water that comes straight from Tibet. Even better are the longer multiday adventures -- liquid journeys that take you down the Karnali, Tamur and Sun Kosi Rivers through some of Nepal's remotest corners.
9. Langtang Trekking
Langtang is a region in Nepal to the north of Kathmandu and bordering Tibet. It is protected as Langtang National Park and has a number of high peaks including Langtang Lirung. The park contains a wide variety of climatic zones, from subtropical to alpine. Approximately 25% of the park is forested.
8. Lumbini, Buddha's Birthplace
It was in Lumbini that the Buddha was born. A pillar now marks the spot of Asoka's visit to Lumbini. According to an inscription on the pillar, it was placed there by the people then in charge of the park to commemorate Asoka's visit and gifts. The park was previously known as Rummindei, two miles north of Bhagavanpura.
7. Views from Pokhara
Pokhara is the third largest city in Nepal. It is the starting point for most of the treks in the Annapurna area. It is considered by some to be the most beautiful place in the world. Pokhara is the largest tourist city in the country, home to great Himalayan trails, residence of a large number of British Gurkha soldier.
6. Bodhnath Stupa
The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. The influx of large populations of refugees from Tibet has seen the construction of over 50 Tibetan Gompas around Boudhanath. Along with Swayambhunath, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area.
5. Elephant Safari, Chitwan National Park
There are many species of birds, crocodiles, rhinos, sloth bears, tigers and monkeys. The elephants you will see walking through the village are domesticated and used for taking tourists on sightseeing excursions. Of course it would not be Nepal without the usual cows, goats, and stray dogs roaming the village as well. Rhino sightings less than a half-mile from the village are not uncommon.
4. Bhaktapur & Kathmandu Valley
Bhaktapur is an ancient city and is renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and indigenous lifestyle of the Newari community. It is just 12 kilometers east of Kathmandu, but gives the feeling of prehistoric times given the ambiance of traditional homes, lifestyles and environment.
3. Annapurna Circuit Trek
This circuit is considered one of the best treks in the world though road construction is threatening its reputation and its future as a classic trek. Yet no one disputes that the scenery is outstanding: 17 to 21 days long, this trek takes you through distinct regional scenery of rivers, flora, fauna and above all - mountains.
2. Everest Base Camp Trek
Famous for its spectacular mountain peaks and the loyalty and friendliness of its inhabitants (the Sherpas), the Everest region (Khumbu) is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nepal. While many of the routes through the mountains are arduous, there are ample places to rest and enjoy a meal along the way.
1. Kathmandu's Durbar Square
This ancient square is crowded with palaces and temples, including the current incarnation of the Kasthamandap or Wooden house that gives the city its name. The square has been occupied since the construction of a palace around 1000AD. This site is the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nepal.
