It was a spontaneous plan with only one hope in mind. The Northern Lights. It was my first experience below zero degrees and driving on slippery ice roads.
My new film is out! If you have 3 minutes to spare I'd love for you to check it out, ????????????????
I was scrolling through Google searching for the best spot to chase the Northern Lights, Fairbanks pops out and the next thing i decided was to book a detour to Alaska. Expecting life below -20 to -30 degrees celsius, all I told myself was that what you'd sacrifice your body and mind to chase a bunch of green lights and hopefully not being froze to death.
It's a boring and lonely little place to be at, Alaska is lifeless during Winter. I'd highly encourage not to be here without any plans. Get your international license and rent a car and for accommodation hit up the locals for the best experience and top ratings suggestions on where to view the Northern Lights.
Of course! Dogs and more dogs. The Alaskan Huskies are the most pure and hardworking breeds you'd ever get close to. Don't be fooled by their fierce looking resting b*tch face, they are just as cute and pampered as your crib dogs.
Looking forward for my next Summer trip here. So long Alaska.
Hope you're well.
Stay happy!

Super-objective dashboardcam videos grow into a strong image of Russian national character with its permanent awaiting for the miracle and habitual approach to real dramas. Everything can happen on Russian roads. Everything can happen on the road of life. This fascinating mosaic of asphalt adventures and landscape photography, in which video footage from a variety of dashboard cameras presents the absurd and frightening nature of Russia. Alongside a series of bizarre car accidents on the country’s roads, the dashboard cameras also capture other spectacles through the windshield, such as a hysterical wedding guest, a confused man and a horse- drawn sleigh. More than once, angry motorists brandish axes, pistols or sledgehammers at the camera, and at times the camera itself seems to come to life, when it is chucked out of the car or stolen by someone breaking in. The footage of spectacular trips through a forest fire, tall snowdrifts or flooded streets is almost poetic – and what’s that up there in the sky? Is it a plane crashing, or could it be a comet? Bemused commentary from unseen drivers and passengers or the sound of the car radio provides unintentionally comical moments. Would someone please call 911?
Norway and the good life - Light on the North
In Norway, Stine Jensen explores the downsides of the Norwegian goodness regime. Why is Oslo the number one city in Europe for heroin consumption? And why are there long lines at the food banks in one of the most prosperous countries in the world? And what happened to the rock solid Norwegian belief in goodness and solidarity after the murders Anders Breivik committed on 22 July 2011 during a shooting on the island of Utoya?
In Light on the North, Stine Jensen gauges one after the other the Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and Danish souls.
'The good Scandinavian life is of course relative. As soon as you start to look at it from different eyes, the image topples.'
In four episodes, the philosopher Stine Jensen, who was born in Denmark but grew up in the Netherlands since her first year, is looking behind Scandinavia's clichés of emancipation, prosperity, natural beauty and space.

Journey No. 03 - Soulful Strangers
As we stepped our feet onto the unfamiliar land of Oslo, we could feel the excitement in the air. The joy of people enjoying the warmest day in the midst of spring season with beers and baguettes were getting into us. We then jumped to every city tram relying on free public wifi, hit random places even the museum of Norwegian polar exploration! Somewhat it was like a kiddies day out for a day we suppose. So many unexpected stuffs happened in Norway, we met so many people! Even Kalisi, the pretty blue eyed cat in our airbnb.
The same excitement also was felt when we roamed through the landscapes of Tromsø where the mountains were fully covered by snow. Was very cold back then and we remember it hits minus six degree while we were driving in snowstorm in the middle of empty roads and our ears were almost turned into icecubes, all we can think about is maybe we will never fit to be the nights watch nor the Starks family (Even with that fabulous Ikea rug as our coat, no.)
Our excitement turned to a thrill when we accidentally forgot to check that our flight from Oslo back to Paris were transitted 23 hours in Riga, the capital of Latvia; a country we’d never thought to go to. Well life’s short so we decided to roam into the city and stayed over at a hotel and again accidentally, that day was actually the independence day of Latvia where every people walk throughout the street to reach Riga’s landmark while there were so many attractions during that beautiful sunset and we’re being total strangers where every people noticed us like there were absolutely no Asians in this world. End the night with spectacular fireworks, again this random city has made us to fall in love at the first sight eventhough that was only for one night.
And finally we travelled to the last stop of our trip, the romantic and iconic city of Europe, Paris; where every people seem so expressively in love. No doubt that most of every people’s checklist in this world to go with their soulmate is here.
The second after we landed, we wrongly took the expensive bus instead of train, what a holy introduction!
Well there were so much to be shared from our experience in this city, actually its my fourth time here within the last two years, so yes, I was a bit familiar about how this city works that got us busted by metro police and fined for 50 Euro! The city where we went back and forth to Mont Martre, just to take delight in doing typical tourist stuffs to be painted by local artist. Street musicians, local people, Parisian patisserie, every landmarks and museums were always the best objects to sit back, relax and enjoy the show; and of course we jumped through the bench of Trocadero just to have an amazing spot for the blinking Eiffel to spend our last night in Europe.
We all learn something from just a little experience we have through the minutes of our life, and sometime it is right to be a total stranger, a pupper in the middle of a boat, in the middle of the sea. Sometimes, the best things in life are unseen and we have to get there passing the sea of wonder, Soulful Strangers in nowhere we have ever dreamed of.
Sincerely Yours,
A

Greenland Drone Flight: The Northern Hemisphere is the half of Earth that is north of the Equator. For other planets in the Solar System, north is defined as being in the same celestial hemisphere relative to the invariable plane of the solar system as Earths North Pole. Owing to the Earths axial tilt, winter in the Northern Hemisphere lasts from the December solstice (typically December 21 UTC) to the March equinox (typically March 20 UTC), while summer lasts from the June solstice through to the September equinox (typically September 23 UTC). The dates vary each year due to the difference between the calendar year and the astronomical year. Its surface is 60.7% water, compared with 80.9% water in the case of the Southern Hemisphere, and it contains 67.3% of Earths land. [wikipedia // Google]

vi er seriøse? (er vi ikke det a?)
bussen vår har bremser? (hakke råd ass!)
alle her er løse? (ALLE SKAL FÅ!)
vi har ingen grenser? (INGEN GENSER!)
landets beste buss her er vi (det var vel å ta litt hardt i)
i hvert fall klare for russetid

glede, danse, feste, sveve,
faile, smile, vennskap, leve
driter i hva gutter sier
for vi er bare ute å rir
KJEPP!

Sáiva (Tuva Synnevåg)
Film by Tuva Synnevåg
The indigenous people of Scandinavia are the Samies. This film is a personal interpretation of a way of thinking, that was widespread amongst the Samies in Sapmi, - but also throughout Siberian tribes, - that when you die, you come to a place where everthing is opposite from this world.
DEUTSCH

Aurora Borealis Sound
Northern Light Aurora Sound
The Aurora Borealis is created by the solar wind hitting the earth's atmosphere. The charged particles of the solar wind are normally deflected away by the shield of Earth's magnetic field, but some are able to leak into the magnetosphere around the earth, where they are then guided along Earth's magnetic field to reach deeper into the atmosphere. Here they collide with the oxygen and nitrogen molecules of the air, to produce a luminous green and red glow that is the aurorae (Northern or Southern lights).
These moving charged particles that create the northern lights also produce intense radio emission at very low frequencies. We can 'hear' the aurorae as a busy chatter when these radio signals are converted to sound, varying on the real timescale that you can hear.
