Sado island is home to the world-famous Taiko Drummer Kodo.
Yearly, Kodo group travel the world in Earth Celebration, an event which attracts many from all over the world to Sado.
Taiko Centre where I met a young student who was fluent in english and Shin-chan Sensei who was enthusiastic and energetic young master.
Who showed me how to play the different sizes and types of drums.
Unforgettable experiences and most of all if did checked my fitness level too.

Kodo Village Sado Island Japan
Life of an islander, for perfect setting for one of the most beautiful drumming performances I have ever witnessed across three continents from the same group, and that is KODO drummers of Sado Island.
I went to see how they live and train to become so precise near perfect in human skills.
Kodo village on Sado Island, training started back in 1989 that their approach had relax feel about drumming.
Today they travel and perform across the Japan and major cities around the world.

I was lucky to be able to visit the Kodo Drummers training centre and meet with a Master of KODO training centre.
My thoughts are shared with the Master at the Centre in Sado.
