Kangaroo Safari Edventure, Miami, Florida
Safari Edventure 2014
Wow this place is great! The staff and director are very friendly folks, and accommodated us even though we were in a rush to get to our flight. The whole venue is geared towards educating people about the animals. Not only do you get one on one encounters but the live presentation is also fascinating. Wish we had had more time to peruse the gardens and see all the animals that we missed. We will definitely be back - not for profit in the purest sense. Must see!

Billie Swamp Safari Motorcycle Adventure ADV
Miami Triumph along with Lu and myself take a ride through Holeylands WMA to Big Cypress Seminole Reservation with the ultimate destination being Billie Swamp Safari. Almost all dirt and off-road only roads where used. Special thanks to Lu for the excellent tour. If you watch the entire video you will see how we encountered the Law! FWC and also ride with wild horses. Seminole fry bread is the bomb.
Hope you liked my video and if you did or didn't, please comment and subscribe.

DAY AT ▹ EVERGLADES SAFARI PARK - FLORIDA EVERGLADES | Vanelicious
Check out my new segment where I take you around Miami and show you some pretty cool stuff... Some only locals might know about! *wink wink*
The Everglades Safari Park is about 35 minutes away from the city of Miami. Although there are many parks and airboat tours, this one stood out to me because it had a bit more then just an airboat ride it had a park and a little show.

Miami Petting Zoo Home Movie
Home movie footage donated by Richard Benson of an petting zoo in Miami, Florida, sometime between the late 1960s and early 1970s. The footage includes young children riding on ponies and various shots of animals in their pens.
The first Europeans to land at the island of Long Key were the Spanish, who called the island Cayo Vivora, or Viper Key in English. Under American control, the key was used as a military reservation from 1845 to 1879, when it was reverted back to the public domain. Sometime during the first half of the 1880s, Thomas Hines, Edward Hines, and Samuel Flier purchased the island to plant coconut groves. By 1910, the town of Layton became known as a popular fishing destination. However, the island's infrastructure was devastated during the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935. After World War II, Mary Layton and Del Layton purchased land on Long Key to develop Layton's Long Key Fishing Camp, allowing for the rebuilding of Layton's fishing industry. On September 18, 1963, Layton was incorporated as a town, and on October 1, 1939, Long Key State Park, which covered much of the island, opened.

Florida Travel: Welcome to The Barnacle Historic State Park, Coconut Grove
Just 15 minutes from South Beach and 10 minutes from Downtown Miami, Coconut Grove is known as one of the hippest, most energetic, most inviting corners of South Florida, but it also hides a secret from the past. Follow a narrow path through the hardwood hammocks and you'll come across The Barnacle Historic State Park located on the shores of Biscayne Bay. The historic state park was once home to Ralph Middleton Munroe, who preserved the forest on his land and, as a result, the property contains many large, old trees. Learn more here:

The Invisible Workers of Homestead, Florida
This was part of a project for a film studies class I took my sophomore year in high school. We were to compete in C-SPAN's national documentary competition. The competition required us to do a small documentary that could not exceed 8 minutes on any particular issue in the United States. My two partners and I decided to focus in on the agricultural workers of our community as we tried to shed a light on how hard it is for them to survive. The majority of them are afraid to speak up for themselves and choose to remain invisible due to their illegal status; we hope that our documentary could speak for them.
We are proud to say that this documentary received the honorable mention award from C-SPAN that year.
