Safari in the Kruger National Park (South Africa)

(EN) Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,485 square kilometres (7,523 sq mi) in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 kilometres (220 mi) from north to south and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from east to west. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa's first national park in 1926.
To the west and south of the Kruger National Park are the two South African provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. In the north is Zimbabwe, and to the east is Mozambique. It is now part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a peace park that links Kruger National Park with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.
The park is part of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere, an area designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an International Man and Biosphere Reserve (the Biosphere).
The park has 9 main gates that allow entrance to the different camps.

As part four of our 2019 South Africa Travel Vlog, we visit Kruger National Park, South Africa for a Safari. While there, we explored the southern and central parts of Kruger, staying in Hazyview, just outside the park, and Skukuza inside the park. If you’re looking for things to do in South Africa, Kruger National Park needs to be on your list! We were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5, including several Lions and multiple Leopards
We also drove portions of the Panorama Route and saw the Three Rondavels and the Elans river Waterfall. I know this video is a bit different than others I've posted, but like I've said before, this channel was created as a platform for me to share my adventures, and visiting South Africa was a pretty big one!

Crazy Travelista and I decided that going to Africa wouldn't be complete without doing a real African Safari. Africa Spear Safaris was amazing, our guide Dave has been guiding his entire life and his length of knowledge was incredible. We chose to do a 4 day 3 night and I felt it was plenty, considering you are just driving in the African Wilderness all day. When I say that it sounds so lame, but trust me its so much more than that!

MUST WATCH►BEST GAME DRIVE IN PRIVATE GAME RESERVE AT KRUGER PARK - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SAFARI VLOG

We we're lucky to get to spend 3 days in the Lion Sands Private game reserve at Kruger National Park South Africa. In the two days we spent there we were able to see all big five which are Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard & RIno (both white rino and black rino). We got to see Leopard stalking through the bush Elephants fighting in the distance and many more stunning experiences at Lion Sands at the Sabie River.

Nkambeni Safari Camp Kruger National Park South Africa-aerial view

Nkambeni Safari camp is situated just outside of the Numbi gate and 20km from Hazyview town. The lodge consist of tented accommodation that has aircon inside each tent and each tent at Nkambeni lodge has its own bathroom. From Nkambeni lodge they do full day Kruger park tours and night drives in a consesion in the Kruger park area. The bar is a bit expensive for South Africans but the pool is nice and clean close to the waterhole. There is also a camping site that people with bigger vehicles such as overland companies can camp for the night.
