South Africa and Mauritius Island Holiday
-- South Africa and Mauritius Island Holiday --
Start your safari and island heaven journey at Sabi Sands, South Africa’s premier, private game-viewing destination. It's here where the quintessential Southern African safari began and today this famous reserve still offers exceptional game viewing. Two perennial rivers, the Sabi and the Sand flow through this game park, sustaining the diverse fauna and flora of the area.
The success of leopard viewing within the Sabi Sands is legendary. A vast variety of antelope, as well as elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe and zebra, can be closely observed in their natural environment.
Johannesburg is regarded as South Africa's metropolitan hub and is closely situated to the country's capital, Pretoria. It is a multi-cultural melting pot of museums, excellent restaurants, art galleries, taxi ranks and ultra-modern skyscrapers. You will also have the opportunity to tour the nearby township of Soweto (one of Johannesburg's most popular tourist attractions).
Blessed with crystal-clear turquoise waters, gorgeous powder-white beaches and a wonderful tropical climate, the idyllic island of Mauritius is a remarkably romantic holiday destination.
While most visitors spend their days relaxing in one of the many luxurious holiday resorts, there is much more to this little island than cocktails and coconuts. Those who venture inland will discover lush, jungle-clad mountains, glistening blue lagoons, impressive rivers and waterfalls, extinct volcanic craters, charming little ramshackle towns as well as villages. Must-see attractions include the bustling capital of Port Louis with its lively local markets, the remarkable 85-metre high Chamarel Waterfall and Eureka (a historical plantation mansion turned museum offering visitors a glimpse into the island’s colonial past). No matter how you choose to spend your time on this lovely little island, it's sure to fulfil all your fantasies of a tropical island paradise.

BRIBING A COP FOR OUR FREEDOM
Returned the Quantum van in Johannesburg, South Africa with much sadness. As soon as we're leaving the airport we got pulled over by an airport sheriff. They said they were going to impound the car and we'd be stuck there because the license was outdated on it. Ended up chatting for about 20 minutes and then we bribed the shit out of them. 200 rand which is about 17 dollars. Bribing a cop for our freedom has never felt so good. Went on and picked up Rico's son Paco from school. Part 2 of the day coming sooooon.

It's the end of this chapter of my life which is a little sad but I think to end in such a positive note is a great thing. And I think (Director) Bill Condon did a really phenomenal job, getting every element in there to satisfy everyone's tastes. It's kind of the climax of the whole series. Everyone has been waiting for Bella to become a vampire. You get to see this huge battle there which everybody has been waiting for. So I'm very excited. I think people are going to be very pleased.

I wish I had more time, I feel like everyone is pleasant and there is such a positive energy and it is just beautiful. The amount of land is incredible. I have just been on a safari at a place called Pumba and it was incredible. There's giraffes walking around, there's monkey's everywhere. It's just a different experience than I have back home.
