(Re-upload) Live Stream from Tenzan Drift Meeting in Saga Prefecture
Last Sunday I took a leisurely drive up to a ski resort in Kyushu to see some drifting. Lots of Nissan Silvias (S14 especially), a few AE86s, and several JZX100 Mark IIs. No ride-alongs, just me strolling through the pits, plus I spend some time track side. The main reason for the re-uploading of the event was to reduce camera shake.

The Arita Porcelain Park will make your head spin as you think you suddenly walked to the Zwinger Palace in Dresden, Germany.
Walking through the Arita Porcelain Park is like being in a small German village, and inside the palace is a museum where you can see both precious European poreclain on one side and beautiful Arita-yaki porcelain on the other. Even more mind blowing is that walking around the palace and grounds is completely free!
The Arita Porcelain Park is best accessed by car, but it's still possible to take a train to Arita Stn and catch a taxi. Don't miss the kiln in the back.

A Taste of NORTHERN KYUSHU: What to Do in FUKUOKA, Nagasaki, Saga, and Oita in Japan
EXPLORING NORTHERN KYUSHU
I recently went on a fun FAM trip to northern Kyushu in Japan with Cebu Pacific Airlines. We visited Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Oita, and Saga and experienced some of the best things you can see and eat in those prefectures.
In Fukuoka, we visited Odori Park, Canal City, and Tenjin and got to taste local specialties like Hakata or tonkotsu ramen and mizutaki. We also had a great yakiniku dinner and got to pick persimmon at an orchard in Kurume!
In Nagasaki, we visited the Penguin Aquarium, 26 Martrys Museum, Peace Park, and Inasayama. We had dinner at Nagasaki Chinatown and got to try local specialties like toruko or turkey rice.
In Oita, we spent the morning at Mamedamachi, a small town in Hita, and had a fantastic hitsumabushi lunch. If you like unagi or eel, then you're going to love hitsumabushi!
Finally, we made a quick stop in Saga to visit Yutoku Inari Shrine. It's a Shinto shrine with those characteristic orange torii gates.

Takeo Trip (Takeo, Japan) Travel VLOG 04
My trip to Takeo was amazing! We walked through Mifuneyama Rakuen, a garden that sadly was not in bloom yet. After Mifuneyama we made a quick trip to the Takeo Shrine where we visited a 3,000 year old tree. Then we toured the Saga Air and Space museum which had three floors full of fun and interesting things. We left Takeo and headed to Hotel Lorelei, here locally in Sasebo, where we finished our day off with a visit to my first Onsen and a nice dinner.
Down below are all the directions and details on each place we went.
1st: Mifuneyama Rakuen (400 Yen Per Person)

3rd: Saga Air and Space Museum (510 Yen for permanent exhibit or planetarium per person, 910 Yen for planetarium & permanent exhibit per person)

360° KYUSHUxTOKYO is the project that shows you the must-see wonders of Tokyo and prefectures of the Kyushu region, in western Japan, in pairs.
This chapter’s theme is “History”, introducing the Edo-Tokyo Museum(Tokyo) and Yoshinogari Site(Saga)
■Tokyo：Edo-Tokyo Museum
A realistic recreation of the Tokyo of three centuries ago, when it was a town named Edo bustling with merchants and craftsmen. The Edo-Tokyo Museum displays treasured historic buildings and scenes of everyday Edo life.
The museum also features a theatre for traditional Japanese artistic performances, such as koto, the stringed instrument, daikagura, a juggling and balancing act and kamikiri, or papercutting.

■Saga：Yoshinogari Site
The Yoshinogari site is the scene of a village that existed here during the Yayoi period over 3,000 years ago.
The beautiful park recreates some 20 structures that existed
at the time.
There are plenty of Yayoi period activities to try here, including fire- and magatama (teardrop-shaped beads)-making.
The view across the charming village and ancient forest from the watchtower is breathtaking.

In this video, I get to show you a wonderful art exhibition by teamLab called “ A Forest Where Gods Live”! This was an amazing experience! If you are in Japan, you definitely need to come see it! To my understanding, they do an exhibition at Mifuneyama Rakuen every year, so if you don’t make it to this one, try for next year! The gardens itself are beautiful and they have all sorts of events throughout the year, so it is nice to see even when teamLab isn’t hosting an event here. I hope you enjoy a tour through this magical experience! See ya next time!
