Yaya Han Vlog: Yuri On Ice Karatsu Hasetsu visit!
As promised, here is my Karatsu/Hasetsu vlog, from our visit in May! This is the town heavily featured in the Yuri!!! On Ice anime, and my friends and I went there just in time for the Saga!!! On Ice Promotion.
This is possibly the nerdiest thing I have ever done, and this video is probably the dorkiest I'll ever make. Like, there are comparison photos, between the real life locations and the anime locations. It doesn't get more Otaku than that. Thank you to Amy, Crystina, Suzi and Brian for coming with me on this anime pilgrimage!!!
Whether you are a fellow YOI fan, or just want to laugh at me being a NERD, I hope you enjoy this vlog! I really appreciated the chance to go see Karatsu, and made this video mainly for others who love YOI and can appreciate the places featured.
Let me know what you think in the comments! Have you ever visited a place just because it was in a movie, or anime?

Dejima, Nagasaki, Japan, 2019
Dejima (Japanese: 出島, exit island) was a Dutch trading post located in Nagasaki, Japan from 1641 to 1854.[1] Dejima was a small fan-shaped artificial island in the bay of Nagasaki covering an area of 120 m × 75 m (390 ft × 250 ft) or 9,000 m2 (2.2 acres), and is listed in old Western documents Latinised as Deshima, Decima, Desjima, Dezima, Disma, or Disima. Dejima was built in 1634 to house Portuguese traders and separate them from Japanese society by digging a canal through a small peninsula. The Dutch were moved to Dejima in 1641 and during most of the Edo period the island was the single place of direct trade and exchange between Japan and the outside world. Dejima was abolished after the Treaty of Kanagawa in 1854 and the island was later integrated into Nagasaki city through land reclamation. In 1922, the Dejima Dutch Trading Post was designated a Japanese national historic site. Wikipedia
Inside Notre Dame before the Fire
We feel so lucky that we filmed some footage of the inside of the Notre Dame Cathedral during our visit to Paris in November 2016. We never realize these footages are so valuable till today when the fire ravaged the Notre Dame Cathedral, i.e. April 15th, 2019. We want to share this to all to remember the great historical heritage.
Kyoto (Japan) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Kyoto in Japan.
Kyoto is considered to be the cradle of Japanese culture, an ancient imperial city with twelve hundred years of history. Emperor Saga honoured the monk, Kukai, by giving him the eastern Toji Temple as the centre of Shingon Buddhism. The lecture hall is home to a figurine-mandala consisting of twenty-one wooden sculptures and in the centre is the mighty figure of cosmic Buddha, Dainichi. On the northern edge of the city is the Kinkakuji Temple, the Golden Pavilion. It is one of the most beautiful buildings of the Muromachi Period whose gilded facade reflects in a pond. The Kamigamo Shrine was one of the most influential and powerful shrines during Heian times. It was here that nobles and members of the imperial court sought proximity to the Shinto heads of the shrine. It was founded in the late seventh centuryand its thirty-six buildings are classified as national cultural treasures. The well-preserved Gion Quarter east of the Kamo River is known for its traditional performances, such as that of koto music. Gagaku music and dance is also featured, as once performed in the Japanese royal court.Kyoto is ancient Japan, a place of both culture and religion.

A trip to the remote islands of Saiki City! Discovering the Kyushu Olle and Gourmet Cuisine
We took a trip to the city of Saiki in Oita Prefecture, the city with the largest geographic area in all of Kyushu. Blessed with beautiful natural scenery including the mountains, the sea, and the lovely townscapes of the local towns, there is no shortage of places worth visiting here. Today we visited Onyujima, home of one of the certified Kyushu Olle Courses as well as a place to enjoy some amazingly beautiful scenery and see the quiet lifestyle of the island where you will find that time simply flies by as you enjoy the many points of interest the island has to offer. A seaside city, Saiki is likewise famous for its seaside location, where you can get your fill of its delicious fresh seafood dishes. Today Heeya and Sunny from South Korea spend a day in Saiki to show you all that the city has to offer.

EXPLORING TOKUSHIMA, JAPAN!|Day 81 - Tokushima
Situated in the eastern part of Shikoku, Tokushima is surrounded by mountains topping 1,000 meters on three sides. As well, Tokushima is blessed with the bounty and diversity of nature, which is highlighted by our sightseeing spots such as the Naruto area (which is part of the Seto Inland Sea National Park and is home to the Naruto whirlpools), the Tokushima City area (which has Mt. Bizan, known as the symbol of Tokushima City), the Mt. Tsurugi and Iya Valley area (where there are magnificent gorges and vine bridges), and the Anan coastal area (home to many pristine beaches).

Rude China tourists in Thailand topple barrier, almost damage Ramayana Grand Palace mural
Chinese tourists from China have a bad reputation, outside of China. Just earlier this week we covered a Chinese couple who attacked their flight attendant and forced the entire flight to return to Bangkok.
Well, here’s another one about Chinese tourists in Thailand. Poor Thailand.
Bangkok’s Grand Palace boasts the world’s longest mural, an elaborate piece hundreds of feet long and gilded in gold, depicting scenes from the mythological saga “The Ramayana”.
Tourists flock to the palace to see this grand piece of art every year, but a group of Chinese tourists were so eager to get up close to the piece that they pushed over the protective barrier. The tour guide was forced to rush out and tell the entire group to step back and to not touch the delicate mural.
Poor Thailand, they must be so frustrated!
