Sagamihara Carp Streamer Festival
Kanagawa's Golden Week 7days celebration for children
Every year during Golden Week, the city of Sagamihara celebrates Children's Day by hosting the 'Oyoge Koi-no-bori Sagamigawa' festival. Approximately 1,200 carp-shaped wind socks are strung across the Sagami River for all to enjoy. The spirited carp is a symbol of Children's Day and many are displayed in the hope that kids will grow up strong and healthy. During the festival, almost 100 food stalls are lined up to create a temporary 'street' so that visiting families can picnic under the beautiful carp streamers.
*What an experience for us to be part of this event, we have fun, me and my friends enjoy the scenery of the place. We only used our bikes to reach the place.
*I'm only using my phone at this vlog the whole time. because i forgot to bring my dslr with me. But i guess the footage turns out great ???? Hope you guys like it :)
