Momiji-tei - Japanese Garden, Sagamihara ● 紅葉亭
► Momiji-tei Garden is a traditional Japanese style garden, located in Soubudaimae, Sagamihara City.
It's significantly smaller than its cousins of more famous gardens in Tokyo, such as Rikugien, Kiyosumi & Koishikawa to mention a few. But it has a charm of its own, making it worth a visit. The downside to it is, its pretty inconvenient getting there; a 45 minutes trainride from Shinjuku Station by Odakyu line, followed by a 15 minutes busride, and finally a 15+ minutes walk - depending on your personal cruising speed.
So I only recommended it if you are in Tokyo for a week or longer, otherwise you have to settle with this video of it. - Enjoy!
Japanese Food - Yakiniku in Sagamihara, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan! [4K]
I don't like visiting the big restaurants in downtown Tokyo, I like to visit the quieter outskirts and enjoy quiet and calm restaurants in order to get a better travel experience.
Today, I went to this quiet Yakiniku restaurant and above all, the atmosphere and quietness definitely amplified the joyful experience.
Yakiniku BBQ In japan is an experience you cannot replicate in any other country due to the premium beef (wagyu) you get in Japan and no where else.

The annual Sagamihara festival was hosted by the city in conjunction with 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. Patrons were able to sample a wide array of foods, including variety of ramen noodles.
The United States Army Garrison Japan and its 16 supported installation sites are located in the island of Honshu and Okinawa in Japan. The USAG Japan mission is to support the Headquarters, U.S. Army Japan / I Corps (fwd) to ensure mission readiness and the quality of life of the Army community in a sustainable, transforming joint and combined environment.
The USAG-J area of responsibility spans 1,500 miles from north to south of Japan. Camp Zama, home for both HQ USARJ and USAG-J is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Tokyo in the cities of Zama and Sagamihara in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Camp Zama base cluster includes Sagamihara Housing Area and Sagami General Depot.
Akasaka Press Center is located in the center of Tokyo. The Akizuki/Kure area near Hiroshima is an ammunition depot. Yokohama North Dock is a port facility in the city of Yokohama, a major commerce port and a popular shopping area. USAG Torii Station is located 980 miles southwest of Camp Zama on the island of Okinawa.

19 killed at care centre in Sagamihara
Nineteen residents have been killed in a knife attack at a care centre for people with mental disabilities in the Japanese city of Sagamihara. Such attacks are extremely rare in Japan - the incident is the worst mass killing in decades. Police have arrested a man who worked at the centre until February, and who turned himself into police after the attack.
