Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco

The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.

Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.

In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.

To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.

Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

Amazing Sahara Desert Tour Experience (Marrakech to Fes)(Cinematic)(GH5)

Had the pleasure collaborating with Marrakech Desert Trips to experience their 3 day / 2 night Marrakech to Fes desert tour excursion. Here's a highlight of the tour experience and I highly recommend anyone traveling to Morocco to do this tour with them. Their driver and accommodations are world class and much better than the other tour companies out there, as we spoke to several different people on the same route as us, but had booked with other tour companies.

My Trip - Sahara Zagora Desert Trip - Morocco

We stayed 2 days 1 night, driving from Marrakech together with Ando Tour. They are recommended however, you can also find similar trip in Marrakech right away, it's a bit cheaper. And lots of hostel/hotel provide similar trip. It was such a unique and special experience.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – ZAGORA (8 HOURS DRIVE)

- Cross the High Atlas Mountains
- Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou
- Drive along Draa Valley
- Arrive in Zagora desert and meet your camel caravan
- Enjoy an houur camel trek while watching the sunset
- Dinner under the stars
- Overnight at your Sahara desert camp

DAY 2: ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH ( 7 hours drive )

- Early wake up to watch the sun rise ( optional )
- One hour camel trek back to the main road
- Drive back to Marrakech
- Arrive in Marrakech around 18h00

Sahara Desert of Marrakesh - Meeting the Berber People of Morocco

Just outside of Marrakech, Morocco, are the Atlas mountains and the indigenous people that live there known as the Berbers. On today's travel, the locals gave us a raw and real look into their daily lives. After we went on a Sahara style adventure without going on the 9 hour drive from Marrakech to the Sahara desert with LG gram, a fantastic, portable travel laptop.
