We slept in the SAHARA DESERT - Tunisia Vlog 2
Tunisia ????????
In this second vlog, we left Tozeur to reach Douz, the southernmost city next to the Sahara Desert.
On the way, we found an awesome abandoned bus in the middle of a lake, absolutely stunning. An
In Douz we rented a 4wd to reach the camp as well as a quad to enjoy some sand dunes, unfortunately or fortunately it was really windy that day and the adventure was more than crazy because of it !
Sleeping one night was not enough in the Sahara but so worth it to be alone surrounded by sand dunes, enjoying a sunrise and talking around a fire with local Beduins people about customs, traditions and how we see the new world.
That's why I travel to create memories and share stories with amazing and kind people !
After this awesome and unforgettable adventure, we headed to Djerba through the mountains and contemplating the landscape while visiting an awesome museum teaching us the Berbers story !
I really recommend guys to stop at Matmata and give it a go !!!
Hope you will enjoy this video and incite you to do a road trip though the south of Tunisia !
It's absolutely stunning . PLEASE SHARE IT to your mates !
PS: sorry for the windy sound I didn't have a microphone before..

SAHARA DESERT CAMPING 4X4 DRIVE TUNISIA DOUZ TO TIMBAINE
A DESERT DRIVE TO REMEMBER IN WONDERFUL FAR SOUTH OF TUNISIA. LESS THAN A MINUTE OF ACTION BUT THE ACTUAL DRIVE LASTED THE BEST PART OF TWO DAYS LEAVING US OVER 100 MILES TO THE NEAREST CIVILISATION. IN HD. ON THE ROAD FROM DOUZ TO TIMBAINE It was aboard one such Toyota with two colleagues and driver- the magic Majid, nicknamed so due to the way he managed to make his Land Cruiser do the seemingly impossible time and time again, that I travelled from Douz into the Sahara....What passed as something resembling a road soon gave way to open desert and we found ourselves climbing up and down the sides of the larger sand dunes – whilst when it came to the smaller ones – simply going over the tops and down the other side – like a boat in a rough sea – it was the bumpiest car ride of my life..VISIT robinnowacki.com easytravelnews.com Robin Nowacki's Travels of YouTube to see more and past features by Robin Nowacki

Exploring Berber sites in Tunisia
What’s the connection between an ancient desert culture and a blockbuster movie? This webisode from is associated with our Star Wars segment from our episode Inside the Bardo National Museum. Stream every episode of Museum Secrets at Vimeo On Demand: and VHX:
The Bardo Museum in Tunis reflects the many cultures that make up modern Tunisia. European, African and Middle Eastern influences are all represented in the Museum’s collection. But only a few decades ago, these deserts were invaded by another tribe, led by a Hollywood director named George Lucas. How did the Berber culture of Southern Tunisia inspire and influence the creator of the Star Wars films? What’s the real history behind Luke Skywalker’s home planet, Tatooine?
The answer is a museum secret.

突尼西亞#11吐澤馬車遊椰棗林2014 Tunisia Tozeur Palm Capital City

Abandoned village - Ghost town in Sahara desert, Tunisia
Abandoned village - Ghost town in Sahara desert, Tunisia. This abandoned village is situated in the desert, picturesque on a hill, but is now a ghost town, because it had become an abandoned village several years ago, due to lack of public transport. This was a phenomenon in Tunisia and thus made quite a few towns to abandoned villages.
